Hesitant about purchasing for fear the material wouldn't be soft enough for a newborn, BUT I was wrong.They're super soft and large enough to have on your shoulder for burping or to catch any spit up from feedings. They get the job done and haven't had any issues with staining. I will definitely be buying more!

I bought these cause my puppies keep eating my burp cloths but these have now become some of my favorites. Not only are they super cute but they are actually a little bit wider (only like 1/2 an inch) than other burp cloths I have that are the same style. The width difference doesn't seem like much but it is huge when I have a squirming baby and I am trying to keep my clothes clean.

Okay, here are the pros and cons.PROS: Super cute patterns. Small enough to fit easily in diaper bags or even pockets, but large enough to cover enough area to catch spitup effectively. Also large enough to use as emergency changing pads. Soft as all get out. I even use them as little lap blankets for the car seat.CONS: Super, duper, uber stainable. Like..... magnetizes stains. Becomes a billboard for stains. Those stains don't wash out despite everything I try, including soaking for days in 20 Mule Team Borax, and I honestly thought that stuff would take the tar off a road if given the chance. Yall may be thinking, "How bad can this really be, honestly? A few stains, so what?" NO. I've only had these for about 3 weeks and all but one of them are stained beyond use. My baby doesn't even spit up much. They look like an artist's paint palette if the artist really liked bodily fluid aesthetic.Rant over.Anyway, they're not extremely absorbent, which is surprising considering they absorb enough to stain, so the spitup sometimes rolls off if you're not quick.SUMMARY: For the price, these are definitely a good option for occasional use. Since they're cute, small, and soft, I think they're great for keeping one in the diaper bag at all times, swapping out for another one when needed. I would not buy for daily use, however.

Since this is not my first baby, I can already tell you that these are going to be my favorite burp cloths and I haven't even used them yet. Not only are they cuter in person, and the designs are exactly as shown, but they will definitely cover the front and back of your shoulder, especially on my husband. Their thick and soft. I don't know how they will wash yet, bit judging by the material, their not going to shrink much or come undone. I am definitely pleased with these. As a second time mom, I have been thru many burp cloths and had an idea of what ones worked best. I just had no idea these would hit the nail on the head and be just what I was looking for! Plus, for the price, you can't beat it!

Love the colors and softness! I havnt used them uet so i cant account for its absorbancy yet, but they do seem like they will absorb well and hold up!Only downside i see so far, is one of them came with an ink(?) Stain *pictured on the bottom of the pink one. These are burp clothes, and they will get dirty, but it was a bit of a bummer
