Bissell Cleanview Rewind Pet Deluxe Upright Vacuum Cleaner, 24899, Green

I love this vacuum! It replaced a 10+ year old Dyson that was on its last legs and was too expensive to replace, so I decided to take a chance on this one because of the great reviews and reasonable price and I could not be happier! The suction on this thing is impressive! It picks up stuff that my old vacuum always passed over - in particular, black dog hair that covers my carpets. I especially love the Turboeraser tool. It does such a nice job on stairs. My carpets have not looked this good in a long time! I do have a few minor complaints - there is nowhere on the unit to put the corner tool, which is quite odd since there’s a place for all the other tools; the hose is kind of short; and the cord is short. The hose will only allow me to reach the fifth stair before I have to haul the vacuum up, and I had to move the plug twice to a different outlet to reach all areas in my living and dining room. Neither thing was an issue with my old vacuum. Those complaints don’t reduce any stars - just stuff I hope they address on future models.

I was amazed at how much dog fuzz this sucked up after I had just used my old vacuum too! The whole canister was full. Dang how this works! That said we just have low rugs and hardwoods so I’m not using it on shag or anything. I bought an extra filter, lavender and a belt. It does smell a bit like old dog hair if you don’t periodically wash the canister and change or wash filter but that easy! If you have dog hair on your rugs and furniture and are narcotic about cleaning like me and you are thrifty buy it!

I’m very happy I got this vacuum. I mean like come on what could go wrong with bissell? Right ? Nothing. I absolutely adore this vacuum as it picks up anything that it encounters. Very easy to maneuver and lightweight as well. I don’t feel like I’ve worked out for hours or breaking my back when it’s all said and done so it’s very good and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good long lasting vacuum

The carpets look amazing after using this new Bissel Cleanview, however when there is a lot of pet fur collected from the carpet, the belt tends to get clogged up with the fur and stops spinning the brush. I noticed a slight burning smell and then saw the roller brush wasn't spinning anymore. If the roller brush/belt was easier to remove, it wouldn't be a problem, but you have to remove 6 or so screws that go into the plastic on the bottom. I imagine either the screw heads or the plastic will strip out when cleaning the fur from the belt and roller brush.

Finally. I feel like an adult with this vacuum. Sure, it's not cordless...but it has suction POWER. And the dirt tornado (safely tucked away in its clear collection vial) will inform you just how negligent your previous attempts at a chargeable stick vac and robot vac have been.Things to watch out for - it's so powerful that the 'roller height' settings are NOT optional. You need to change them according to what's in your house (bare floor, shag rug, ect.). Only downsides are that the front won't fit under the toe kick in your kitchen, and stairs won't be super easy past 4 stairs up.

I bought this due to my old vacuum dying. I won’t lie, I was shocked at how well this vacuum worked. My carpet looked brand new after vacuuming. It sucks up everything and makes the carpet feel 100x cleaner. My last one (same brand but again a lot older) wasn’t even picking up half of what this one was. Absolutely love this!

This arrived within days of my placing the order. It was so easy to put together, about 10-12 mins. Though I do not have a pet, I think it definitely would do a good job at getting up pet hair. I vacuumed my bedroom carpet with my old vacuum, followed by my new Bissell Cleanview. Wow, it picked up deep-down dirt that had been left by my Hoover. The most important reason I decided on this model (24899) Bissell Upright Vacuum, was due to it having cord rewind. My choice had to also be easy to maneuver which is just that. I do however wish it was self-propelled. The downside of this cleaner is that it has a loud piercing noise that is constant while in vacuum mode, which makes you want to hurry up the job.

I was DONE with our last vacuum. I used this vacuum as soon as it came in, just a few days after using our other one, just one room it collected so much dust and dirt. The suction is great and can be adjusted for different surfaces

The rewind feature is really handy. I did like that the suction picked up a lot of dirt on a bare floor, which is why I gave this model 2 stars.I did not like the handle which was uncomfortable to hold because of the sharp edges. I did not like that the suction couldn’t handle my shag rug, nor could it handle the low pile rug under my dining room table. I did not like the short, stiff hose. I did not like that that hose pulled the vacuum over. I did not like that the triangle attachment had no storage place, (in my pocket?) This is starting to sound like Dr.Seuss.This vacuum was returned.

I previously owned a bissel pet eraser vacuum that I have been using for 8 years. It was finally on it's way out this year so this was bought as it's replacement. There are several models available ranging in features and fanciness to choose from - I opted for this one primarily for the cord rewind (my old model had it and I couldn't do without it), and the basic features (lower cost). I am not disappointed with my choice at all. The cord rewind works great and the basic features means it is a reasonable weight to carry up and down stairs. The Pet Turbo Eraser works wonders on lots of smaller things that would benefit from a roller head brushing such as couches or vehicle carpets. Easy to assemble - 2 screws. The hose design/mounting allows for easy cleaning. Canister has much more space in it than my old model, makes for easy emptying when full. There is an additional piece inside canister that can be twisted out to allow for additional cleaning, but so far I find most of the dirt collects nicely and I have not needed to remove this piece yet when emptying. Only issue I have found so far is long hair likes to get wrapped around the inner piece I just previously mentioned, so I usually have to grab the hair ball and tug it out as it wont fall with the rest of the dirt. Minor issue that you probably wont ever have to deal with if the hair your dealing with isnt 24-36" long like mine haha.

LOVE THIS VACUUM! 100/10! I have 2 cats and hadn’t cleaned my couch in months (I know, gross, stop judging me) and OMG does this thing work wonders! Literally cleaned my couch SO fast with the turbo pet attachment! I’m IN LOVE. It’s a little heavy, but man is it worth it! I also love that it has the retractable power cord! Super convenient so you’re not sitting their wrapping the cord for 5 minutes lol.

The suction is very good, it moves well/smoothly, and it has a decent length cord. The attachment for pet hair is crazy good! Love the retractable cord too. The only con (hopefully a temporary one) is that it does tip-over if you are using attachments and the vacuum is not right there beside you, so reach is not that great in that respect. However, it could be that because the hose is so new the spring back is so strong. It may become more lax with use. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and feel that it is a better quality vacuum than the last brand (that I am no longer loyal to or will buy). This now subpar brand who shall remain nameless, like many other companies now coast on their former glory and have cheaped-out in quality parts etc.I've had this new vacuum for about a month now. If anything should change, I will update my review.
