Perfect job for my Volvo V50
Bit of a job taking out the radio and getting this wired up, but well worth it. I have a Volvo V50 (2010) with the basic Performance audio system. It has Bluetooth for calls, but not for music, and no Aux in. I had been using a cig port mounted FM transmitter, but all of them also do hands-free, and I didn't want that as I already have it in the car. Plus they sometimes suffer from interference. So I installed this and an extra USB port beside the new Aux port, and have a Tunai Firefly Bluetooth/Aux adapter plugged in to the two. Now I have perfect Bluetooth music coming through loud and clear via the radio, and can let the car's inbuilt system handle the calls.Sound quality is excellent, and everything is hidden neatly behind the dash, so there's no unsightly wires at all. The V50's sound system is notoriously difficult (and expensive) to upgrade thanks to it's optic fibre MOST connections, so the fact that this is affordable and high quality is brilliant.
