I read through a lot of reviews on products to find the right blanket for my intimate endeavors and this one seemed like it had the most positive ones. I’m a super soaker and there have been times when this held up just fine. But there are times when it rains extra and it will soak through; that’s not often. All in all, I feel like it’s great value. It would be nice if it covered the whole bed, but it’s not necessary; it doesn’t bother me like I thought it would. Different colors would be nice, even just black. You do have to put it through two dryer cycles like everyone else says.

I purchased this to use as a protective cover for easy clean up when I've with my partner. The blanket is not plush or overly soft, but tolerable and satisfying. It does an excellent job of protecting surfaces as a waterproof blanket. My partner also finds it helpful to fold and use the opposite side when working out so he doesn't sweat on the floor. It's extremely easy to clean with a run through the washer/dryer. You really can't put a price on concern free intimacy and such an easy clean up.

This blanket lays on top of our made bed, blue side up to match the decor, and prevents any pet issues from reaching the linens: fur, drool, muddy paws (hope that’s mud), or urine.As it it waterproof we don’t sleep under it. But, flip it over to the red side, and it’s nice that there is always at the ready a clean, waterproof fabric that is comfortable to lay on top of, and even doze off on. It’s easy to gather it up for the laundry while containing any messy stuff from spreading. In any event the bed stays nice and the blanket washes nicely afterwards.Heads up: you may find it has a long laundry cycle. Also, the blanket does not cover 100% of the bed for a King. An area the size of your pillows is uncovered, which works fine for me.

If your washing machine doesn’t allow for an additional spin cycle, it can take a long time to dry. Otherwise, perfectly good for all it’s intended purposes.

I like this blanket, very utilitarian, not very heavy weight, but definitely waterproof.

Great product. Nice quality. Beautiful colours. I bought one because my cat pees on the bed. I’m not much of a swinger - ha! But I’m sure it’s just great for rollicking fun. Very soft and comfy. Just ordered 2 more for other beds/furnishings in the house. It is totally waterproof. I tested it by pouring two cups of water on and letting it sit. No dampness on underside.

There really is a product for everything these days. Some are useless, but this is not one of those! It has honestly made a big difference in my sex life. I no longer fret about the "wet spot" or sleeping afterwards in sweaty (or soaked) sheets. That means letting go of inhibitions - way better than worrying about if a towel will do.The size makes it easy to launder; quick wash, dry 20 minutes, then flip the other way and set dryer for another 20 minutes.Hubby and I will make good use of this excellent product.

I've had this blanket for several months now with several spills and washing/drying cycles. It's still as good as new. I have tried various other waterproof blankets as well as a supposedly waterproof mattress protectors. I was disappointed with all of them except for this one. It is a little pricier than others, but definitely worth it. I will purchase a second one. Here's what I love about it:- it doesn't make that plastic noise when you move it. It just looks and feels like a regular heavy blanket.- it is waterproof.- it's large and covers most of my queen size bed.- it's very good quality, the fabric is soft, the seams are tight and look great.- it's warm and can be used solely as a warm blanket on winter nights.- the colour is vibrant (I bought the red one) and being reversible makes it great in any decor.I have read other comments about it not being able to handle an adult leak or other large quantities of liquid. For me, it has absorbed the equivalent of a few cups of liquid and remained completely dry on the other side. It's easy to wash, although it does take quite a long time to dry. Be careful when removing the tag though because it is sewn in the edge and if you just pull it like I did (silly me) you'll damage the edge.

I purchased this to use on our bed for our senior dog that occasionally pees while he sleeps. Upon waking yesterday, I found he in fact had peed and the moisture and smell had leaked through to the blankets underneath. Not a huge amount, but I definitely had to launder everything. Super disappointing! Also, when I laundered the blanket, not only did it take forever to dry, it appears to have shrunk. I wouldn’t waste your money on this blanket.
