Watch for Manatees When Driving Your Speedboat
Not great, not terrible. The Manatea has a strange shape, and due to the angle of the flippers, it won't fully submerge to wet all of the tea leaves hanging from the cup like it is supposed to hang. To get all of the leaves wet, I have had to dunk him in the water with a spoon. However, it is still a cute product. Also, if you use a red tea, when the tea is brewing, it looks like he is bleeding out of his back after being hit by a boat, which is both hilarious and horrible.

If there were ZERO stars
If you like floaties in your tea after dunking your fingers in then it might be ok for you. The seahorse doesn't hang far enough into the cup to get the tea in the water. The cup would have to be full to overflow to even make a cuppa and then I am not sure it would work. Bits fall out when dunked by hand. Also leaves a bit of a rubber smell/taste in the cup so basically you get rubber water as the tea can't reach the water.Don't waste you money......says item can't be returned so I'm stuck with a rubber bath toy for my kids.

Poor quality, not even the correct brand.
I ordered this item because I expected it to be Fred & Friends Brand. The image provided by the seller even says "Always look for the official Fred logo" on the tail. The product that I received did not arrive in a box, did not have the Fred logo, and was sub-par in quality. When I attempted to return it as I was not given the product I ordered, I was informed that it was not eligible for return. I am very disappointed to have wasted money on a product that is not the brand I was expecting and does not steep the tea very effectively.

Cute design, great idea!
Hello!I really liked my tea infuser with the shape of a manatee! I like the size (not too big but not too small either), and I think it does the job! However, I had to leave it floating in my mug because if I left it hanging on its own, the mug needed to be almost completely filled. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it has a strong smell. I washed it many times, but as many silicone products, it brings its own smell. I already had taken this new tea that I bought, so when I tasted it using Fred, I realized it smelled different. But overall, it is an outstanding product!

A Hilarious 5-Star Gift To Yourself!!
My hubs tells me that eventually our house is going to look like Pee-Wee’s Playhouse with all the “things” being other “things” around here! I saw the Tea-tanic & knew it was a nice addition to my collection of “things”. I half expected it to pop open when I put it in the water. But it stayed together. There was some leaves that came out, but nothing more than what my traditional tea diffuser does. The material is very flexible & bendable. This wouldn’t be a good item for individuals with fine motor or dexterity challenges, including arthritis or shaking, etc. I haven’t figured out a way to load the black bottom half without holding it in one hand and filling it with a spoon in another. It’s a lot like rolling your own cigarettes. But funnier & with your favorite tea! I really enjoy it!

Cheerful Addition to My Desk 🐋
I LOVE THIS! I put tea bags in it instead of loose leaf tea and it sits perfectly in my cup making me smile. I was worried it would displace too much water but I'm happy to report that it does not.

Cute but not terribly functional
This is a super adorable infuser. I haven't noticed the silicone taste some reviewers noted. However, the holes are too high for it to be an effective infuser you leave it hanging on your mug, you have to leave it to sink. You'll also get some leaves floating around. I also would only use this for herbal teas, there's not enough room for tea leaves to open up enough to brew properly. That said, as long as you don't mind sinking it to brew your tea, it works great.

Manatees and tea; combining two things I love!
My favorite animal is the Manatee. When I found out there was a "punny" tea infuser I had to have it. I drink a lot of tea and haven't had any luck with the ball infusers, whether they are metal or silicone. I usually buy empty, unbleached tea bags for my loose tea (I mostly drink loose leaf tea) and pieces always slipped through. Most of my teas are blends that have fine pieces of herbs or whatnot, and this Manatea infuser doesn't let anything sneak out! He's SO cute hanging on the side of the cup and I can still kind of place my silicone lid over the top of the mug to keep the heat and steam in.If I had a complaint, it's that the top part of the holes is sometimes exposed, so maybe if his head was a little longer he would hang down lower into the mug. I tend to add sugar, honey and sometimes milk if it's a chai and need some extra space at the top so he gets left a little exposed at the top. You also usually need to leave a decent amount of space on top if you're using a thermal mug with a lid.Either way, this little guy brightens my days and works well. I usually rinse him out with warm water and give it a little scrubbing with soap; especially with black teas and Earl Gray as they leave stains and lingering tea odors.

Cute, would have liked a prettier colour
Who couldn't love this cute manatee tea infuser? It has an appealing face and the flippers hook over the lip of your mug, whilst the tail sits in your tea. The head pulls off and the body can then be filled with tea leaves. I'd have liked a slightly prettier colour, or at least a choice of colours, although the greyish shade is true to life. I'm not sure how well it will wear over time - the head and body simply pull apart and then plug back together again, so I'm not sure that it will last all that long. However I don't know as only just got it. It also has a very rubbery smell when it comes (which is fair enough since it is rubber) so you need to give it a good wash before using in tea.

Does its job, and does it well.
I bought this infuser as I didn't want the hassle of constantly cleaning my teapot everytime I wanted a keep cup of tea.So, this infuser is a God send, small enough for easy storage. But big enough to fill with loose leaf tea. It's so easy to clean and dries even quicker!Well-made, brews in minutes and doesn't effect the taste of the drink whatsoever. Not much more you could really want or ask for.I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a quick cup of tea without having to worry about the cleanup.

Cute but pointless for the task in hand
This looks super-cute so if you want to pay £10 for a really cool bit of plastic that's reminiscent of the Sea Cow in Sarah and Duck, then go right ahead. For anyone that's interested in a cup of tea, look elsewhere. This is made of some silicon substance. Highly flexible and likely to fall apart when put into the tea cup...tea leaves everywhere. The colour is particularly unappealing and it has a nasty habit of being a dust and dirt magnet. Ours is now a kid's toy.

Fred Manatea makes a great cup of tea!
Love my Manatea, so much so just got two more, simple to use, bit of experimenting with amounts of tea to use-its one tea spoon-too much and it does not seep out. He also benefits from a gentle squeeze of his tummy with a tea spoon' Like many trying to cut down on plastic (sadly nearly all tea bags have them) Fred is silicon and will last a long time-makes storing tea much more compact as well. Teas also seems to have more taste to it than with the bags

Poor quality plastic covered in dust
Firstly, the current price of £9.20 is daylight robbery for two pieces of badly cut plastic. I'm not entirely sure is particularly suitable for drinks given the white powder covering this object in it's packaging - it's possible the plastic is not great quality in itself. Don't waste your money. Photo makes it good vastly superior to product delivered.
