from Dartyboy on 26 August 2019Great piece of kitI have mild sleep apnoea and found the mandibular advancement device that the NHS provided very uncomfortable and left me with a sore jaw. I found, by chance, a YouTube video (Lookee wrist sleep monitor review) that described this sleep monitor. There appears to be a number of different names it goes by - Lookee, Welloxy or Viatom - but I think they are all the same. I chose the Welloxy one because it was cheaper than the others - however the one I got is a Viatom Snore O2. A few things to note if you buy one: The app stated in the manual (SnoreO2) doesn't exist when I searched in Google Play so I'm using the ViHealth app although there is also one called WellOxy Mobile that looks exactly the same. After downloading the app and enabling Bluetooth on you phone/tablet (do not pair the devices) start the app and it will recognise the sleep monitor and ask you to install the new device. It will then ask for the last 4 digits of the monitor's serial number (SN). It took me a while to figure out where the SN is on the device and so you have to remove the body of the device from the strap - the SN is on the underside of the sleep monitor body. Its quite easy to separate the body and the strap. After that you're all set to go. The status of the device is indicated by a small light on the top which is green or blue, flashing or not flashing eg. when charging with the included micro usb cable it shines constantly blue - its all in the manual. when you go to bed you put the monitor on you wrist, the ring sensor on a finger or thumb and press the start button on the side. You set monitoring levels etc in the app. In the morning remove the device which will now flash blue while it stores the night's info. When finished you link to the app and the info will be downloaded for you to review and export if you wish.In my opinion this is a great device for monitoring the level of oxygen in your blood and giving you a nudge if it drops below the level you set in the app. In conclusion, I'm very pleased I bought the monitor and would recommend it to anyone wanting to monitor their sleep.

The serial number needed is found by detaching the blue console from the black strap.Once I realised the above two facts I got the device up and running and it's worked perfectly since. I wear it every night and when my apnea is bad enough my O2 falls below the set threshold and the vibration wakes me preventing me from having a prolonged cessation of breathing. In the morning it provides a chart, on my phone, detailing last night's stats.I must give top marks to the manufacturer Viatom also. I already owned a similar device and when the sensor failed, withing the warranty period, they provided a replacement for free.I'm surprised these devices aren't marketed more aggressively to the medical industry as apparently around 50% of people cannot tolerate CPAP, like me, and these provide protection from unnecessary strain on the heart etc from prolonged oxygen desaturation that wouldn't otherwise be available to people who can't use the expensive machines.

As others have menrioned. Be warned when you order the Welloxy you actually recieve the Viatom SnoreO2. Download Welloxy app from google, you will not find the Snore app. Other than this the product and app appear to work fine.

Eine gute Idee, aber nur mäßig umgesetzt:Die Betriebsanweisung gibt es nur auf Englisch und Chinesisch. Englisch wäre für mich an sich kein Problem, aber sie ist außerdem unvollständig. Es wird nämlich nicht angegeben, wo man die SN-Nummer findet, die man für die App braucht. Auf Nachfrage hin bekam ich vom Kundendienst sehr schnell Antwort, nur leider ist die Nummer so winzig, dass man auch mit perfekter Nahsicht eine Lupe braucht, um sie zu entziffern.Die App ist, wie schon in der vorangegangenen Rezension gesagt, in Deutschland nicht erhältlich. Ich habe sie als APK-Datei herunterladen und installieren können und der Kundenservice gab mir den Tipp, dass eine ältere App (WellOxy Mobile) ebenfalls funktioniert. Diese ist auch in Deutschland erhältlich.Das Hauptproblem ist aber - zumindest bei dem mir vorliegenden Exemplar - dass Bluetooth nicht zuverlässig funktioniert. Ich brauchte eine ganze Reihe von Versuchen, bis die App das Gerät endlich erkannt hatte.Nachdem dies gelungen ist, geht das Auslesen der Daten etwas besser, aber immer noch nicht wirlich zuverlässig.Außerdem ist der Daumenring aus sehr dünnem Material (kann man auf den offiziellen Produktfotos nicht sehen) und ich glaube nicht, dass er lange hält.Nach der ersten Testnacht kann ich sagen, dass die Vibration ist nicht immer stark genug ist, um zu wecken.Die Befestigung am Handgelenk ist einhändig nur schwer zu bewerkstelligen. Dabei gibt es so viele andere Möglichkeiten, z,B, Klettverschluss.Die Aufzeichnungen des Gerätes scheinen aber zuverlässig zu sein. Allerdings stellt es sich mein Gerät nachts ab und zu aus. Woran das liegt, kann ich nicht sagen.Insgesamt glaube ich, dass so ein Gerät nützlich ist und dem Patienten hilft, selbständiger zu werden und sein/en Schlaf / Apnoegerät besser überwachen zu können.

Das Gerät funktioniert sehr gut und für mich persönlich ist es auch nicht unangenehm beim Schlaf zu tragen.Es zeichnet auch alles sehr akkurat auf und man kann alles im nachhinein in der App. auswerten...Jetzt die Problemchen weswegen ich einen Stern abziehe...Die App gibt es in Deutschland nicht...weder in den App-Store für iOS noch in Google Play für Android da der Pulsoximesser in der EU noch nicht genug getestet wurde und daher keine offizielle Zulassung hat. Ich habe eine freistehende App. oder APK für Android gefunden und auf einen Smartphone installiert und so lies sich der Pulsoximesser ablesen und bedienen und die App. ist auch sehr gut gemacht und übersichtlich, aber für iPhone oder iPad gibt es diese in der EU nicht...man muss sich über VPN in den U.S.A. bei Apple anmelden und über einen Mac-PC mit eine alte Version von iTunes die App runterladen und dann installieren oder mit den iPhone aber da hat es bei mir nicht geklappt...also alles in Allem ist das Gerät ohne Geduld und paar konstenpflichtige VPN Dienste und Software nicht in Deutschland zu gebrauchen..Das zweite Problem dass ich feststellte war dass ich die Alarm-Vibration(auf Sehr-Stark gesetzt) im Schlaf gar nicht wahrgenommen habe als mein O2 Blutgehalt unter 88% gefallen ist und der Alarm ausgelöst wurde...

Llevo unos días usándolo y funciona estupendamente. Es muy cómodo, no molesta para dormir, los materiales son suaves y agradables.Mide la saturación de O2, la frecuencia cardiaca y los movimientos. La integración con la app del móvil es muy sencilla, y te da unas gráficas muy detalladas de esos parámetros.La batería tiene una buena duración, una noche consume el 50% y se carga desde cualquier USB.A mi me está sirviendo para ver qué cosas me ayudan a dormir mejor o peor con datos objetivos y no sólo mis sensaciones. La vibración por baja saturación de O2 me ayuda a buscar otra posición para respirar mejor.Las únicas pegas son las ya explicadas por otros usuarios: la app de móvil es WellOxy Mobile, no la que dice el manual, y el número de serie está debajo del aparato, hay que separarlo de la correa para leerlo.

Jusqu'à ce jour, j'avais plutôt satisfaction de Amazon car je n'ai pas eu besoin d'un sav.Acheté à 109 €, ce moniteur snoreo2 de viatom est tombé en panne après 5 utilisations!!!! Surprise :PAS DE SAV....Dommage, j'avais confiance en Amazon...

Garantisce tranquillità perchè avverte se si va in apnea .Assistenza buona anche se in inglese .
