No matter how firmly I anchor the telephoto lense to the camera it shifts and slides out of range of the camera lense when I try to adjust the focus.

Overall the lens is a quality product, but some practice using it is required to get used to adjustment and focusing. When I opened the box the lens was a little larger that I thought it would be. Upon examining the lens I could see it was well constructed and the adjustments operated smoothly. There were no instructions in the box my lens came in so I was able to use the pictures on the outside of the box to attach and set the lens up for use. As with any monocular, the more you increase the magnification the less steady it is when hand held. A small tripod was included for use to get the max magnification shots. After I experimented with the lens to make sure I could easily take photos with my smartphone I was very pleased with the quality of the photos using the monocular. All in all, the monocular works very well and I would say worth the price I paid. I would recommend this lens to anyone.

Large and clumsy. Very low tech. Felt like binoculars attached the the phone. Hard to center on the camera port and rings on the photos like your in a tunnel...

This item has great range and lens quality, but it's also on the heavier side. This makes it tricky to get balanced on the phone, even with a tripod. I was using it for taking pictures of birds at my feeders, but I found it too cumbersome for quick, every day use.

Ad should list which phones are compatible, and whether or not a phone case would impact it's functionality

This lens setup is so easy to use. My very first photo while using this lens is posted (40+ feet away from the Night Heron's nest). After just a little practice, my photos are amazing (no shadow as in my first try), and I plan to take photos of my backyard (Florida) birds for the next great bird count in May. The lens fit on my Google phone perfectly, and the tripod makes the pictures even clearer due to stability when taking shots. This is an excellent value for a really low price. I recommend this product. Completely satisfied.

Lens appears to be well made. ,but seems to be a bit heavy for the piece supplied to attach to cell phone..If I'm doing something wrong please reply......

Horrible. No directions. Impossible to set up quickly, forget ever just pointing and shooting spontaneously. Do not waste your money. Bulky, too heavy for the snap in piece they want you to attach it to your phone with. You get a circle with a black background instead of a full picture... and the zoom isn’t powerful. You have been warned. Do not waste your money on this nonsense.
