Darkness Surrendered order of the blade
This was very tense and riviting story. So many twists that surprised me. Elijah meeting Ana knowing she is his sheava then losing his life. Or so everyone thought. Then Ana finding out that the bad guy was really her Dad's best friend that caused her parents deaths. Such a great story.

Still a Guilty Pleasure
I this this book might be my favorite so far. The storyline is much more detailed and intriguing. There is a truly terrible villain. It's exciting to get to know more of the members of the Order, as it makes their interaction that much more understandable. This series is only growing more and more interesting and I can wait to read them all.

Another Great read by Ms. Rowe
I've read the first two books in this series: Quinn's and Grace's story, and Gideon's and Lily's story. I believe that each couple's story is great and they are just getting better with each new story. Ms. Rowe set the scene and just sweeps you up in the story-line. With Elijah's story you could actually feel his conflict within himself, how he struggles with his illusions. And then there is Ana the illusionist who is afraid of her "gift" of illusions and how she struggles. The nuances, conflict and struggles and their ability to find the strength from within, to overcome everything and find that true love does conquer all is wonderful. I wish I could write this review better and do it justice. This is another great book by Ms Rowe! You really know how to draw the reader in as if they are living and breathing the story. I just couldn't put the book down. I loved the first two books but I do have to say that Elijah's and Ana's story is my favorite right now. I'm reading them in order so we'll see how the the other books stand up to the first three. I would recommend to the readers that they read them in order. This way you understand their powers, their struggles and the story-line best. Thank you Ms. Rowe for another great read. You are one of my top authors to read.

Surprisingly bad
Spoilers Ahead!!This book is actually really bad! Amazingly terrible and here is why.The plot is moved along by repetition of the same angst page after page after page. It is tedious to read Ana lament over the fact that she is a bad person, a bad influence etc etc and whine over it. Then I have to listen to Elijah lament over not wanting her, but wanting her, but is bad for them, but he wants her. Then she whines about being afraid of hurting him and destroying him and hurting him. Then he goes on about hurting her and failing her and not being able to protect her. Then they have sex. They love it. Then they regret it, then they start the whole lamentation whine process again. 300 plus pages of this bulls***. I am actually shocked I finished the book. I kept hoping that Ms Rowe would move the story along. We get it, they are bad for each other.. but come on that is not the only plot device to move the romance story. The story of Ezekiel is really good and that is what kept me reading because I want to see how it will progress.. but these two loons called Ana and Ezekiel keep f..ing up the story with their oh so angst story line!I was a fan of JR Ward until book 5 of her Dagger series and then I jumped off that wagon. I bring up J R Ward because I found many similarities between both series and was willing to ignore them. Here is the thing. If you first read Ms JR Ward's Dagger series. Stay way from this series.

Again a great book!!
It was a great read to find out what has Ezekiel driven to do such horrible things. I felt somehow sorry for him at the end, but also happiness for Elijah n Ana, that they found the peace they wanted and the love there fought for.Again a fantastic storyline about love and friendship to make the word a better place for those who need it most. I really recommend the books for those who loves paranormal story's you will fell in love with the characters!

Loved it...
I seriously love this series and Elijah and ana' s story is my favourite so far.. after going through so much on their path to happiness it was nice to see them battle the bad to share the good.. Stephanie rowe definitely grabs you and pulled you into the world of the calydons and their shevas a world where true love meets a not so pretty destiny. So while battling greed insanity lust and lots of other s*** shaped goodies we journey on a path of soul mates... well worth the read I would highly recommend this book as it fits the whole lot romance, mystery, special beings and lots of fast paced smut my kinda book SQUEEEE)

Loved it!
I bought the entire series after downloading book 1 for free. I love this author's writing style and the character development just improves throughout. Each subsequent book has a very different story with the same basic tenets which is difficult. With some other authors you can find that the sequels are just repetitions of the initial story with small variations. Not this author! Each book is individual and could stand alone but previous characters are carried on throughout so you can keep up with them as well.I will keep buying this series as long as Stephanie Rowe keeps writing them!

Wow - nothing else can describe this...
Order of the Blade series - I've often felt that i could attach the comment of 'I couldn't put the book down' to many authors I read. However, with the final in this series 'I had to put the book down'. I was at the stage where I was so emotionally involved with the characters I had cried for them (literally). I had surpassed the want to continue and had a definite need to know the outcome of the book, but didn't dare read on in case it was what I thought or even worse it was... An absolutely phenomenal book that has made Stephanie Rowe a favorite author for me!

Fabulous
I am still loving these books. I loved the previous ones and I liked this one even more. I absolutely adored Elijah in particular. The plot was a good one, keeping me guessing how it would all get worked out in the end. There were so many issues to be overcome and it kept me hooked. The books are very well written. I've just finished this one and I'll be straight onto the next.
