I think these are awesome for ten bucks. First of all, these are PERFECT if you enjoy reading in bed lying on your side. This way, I can fall asleep while reading and not worry about crushing my progressive/transitional eyeglasses that cost about $600. You’re gonna get finger print smudges on them and prob scratches as there are no arms to pick them up by. I just grab by them by the nose bridge.

I’ve gone through at least a dozen different pocket reading glasses looking for a pair that has great optics, is comfortable to wear and compact enough to carry in my front pocket every day. These meet all three criteria. The lenses are clear and provide a sharp image. They are sturdy but so slim & light in their case that I don’t notice them in my pocket. The silicon pads keep the glasses on my nose without slipping or pinching.

The silicone tends to slip and glasses fall off easily. I cut the silicone off and glued strips of cork onto the frame and they don’t fall off any more. I believe original / antique pince nez had cork for the nose pads. They will stay on for hours now.

I had hopes for this one but the silicone widgets in the middle of the frame are horrible for a firm fit. They simply KEEP FALLING OFF.Ugh.

Pro's: Optical quality similar to name brands (Nooz, ThinOptics). Appears to be more durable since bridge and nose rest are made of metal, eliminating the common failures for those other 2 brands.Con's: Case is not made for mounting to the back of cell phone. Note: they do not claim it is, but for me, that is the primary benefit of thin, no arm readers. No double stick tape is provided, and since one side of the case is solid metal, you cannot wirelessly charge your phone if you do mount the case to it. These glasses do pinch harder than others and actually slightly inhibit breathing through your nose, but since I only wear these for short periods to read a menu or ingredients list, it is not a big issue.

Cool style, nicely made, EXCEPT nose pads are slick silicon that slides right off my nose. Good spring steel and tough plastic for other parts. Close to awesome and yet unusable. Had to toss them.Also a bit too small for most people as a guess. I had to look really cross-eyed through them. If the spring steel in the center was adjustable in length or just a bit wider and the nose pads were not slick so they stay on your nose, I would say these are fantastic. But in the trash bin now instead.The cover provided for it was nice.

I don't carry reading glasses with me - bulky and difficult to put in a pocket. But I NEED them for grocery shopping, reading a menu, and so forth. I received these today, and am amazed that I waited for years to look for pocket-worthy readers. Great quality, great lenses, easy fit in several placed on the nose, and best of all a flat carrying case that I can keep in the car and slip into a pocket when needed. Fast shipping, great packaging. I'm getting a 2nd pair. BUY THEM!
