I absolutely love this eyeliner. I have something called blepharitis, which causes dry eyes and makes my eyes super sensitive to eye makeup (both mascara and eyeliner). Usually eyeliner or mascara causes the base of my lashes to itch/sting, swell, etc. One application of regular eyeliner or mascara would result in days of itching afterwards. But I didn't want to just give up on wearing makeup, so I spent a whole year trying different types of eyeliner (and/or going without makeup when I just couldn't stand the dry itchy eyes), and I finally found Pacifica's eyeliner, and I am in love. This is the only eyeliner I have found that does not irritate my eyes. I wear it everyday with no problems at all. It goes on easily and smoothly (no pulling on my eyelids), and by the end of the day it does fade, but it does not collect under my eyes like many eyeliners do, which I really appreciate (so it doesn't create "raccoon eyes" at the end of the day). And it might sound weird, but I love it *because* it fades slowly. Because of my blepharitis, my eyelashes are prone to falling out easily, so trying to scrub an eyeliner off at the end of the day everyday would cause me to loose tons of lashes, and my eyes are too sensitive to use makeup removers. This is easy to take off when you want to. Honestly, most of the time I don't even bother taking it off, I just go to sleep and wake up and it's practically gone. And yet, at the end of the day (around 6/7pm), it's more of a charcoal grey, but it still looks good. I just make sure to be careful not to rub my eyes during the day, because that will smudge it. So basically, if you are looking for eyeliner that won't budge unless you use a special makeup remover, this is probably not the eyeliner you are looking for. But if you have sensitive eyes like me, you should definitely give this a try! It doesn't have any waxes in it (from what I can tell - no beeswax or other waxes) - which I think is part of what made it work for my sensitive eyes. I bought my first pencil about a year ago, and I just reordered my second one now, so it does last a long time. I am a very happy customer :)

I love that this is torture free and completely vegan, AND that it works. Often, cruelty free makeup doesn't stay on, but this eyeliner goes on easily and stays on. I need to use cream to remove it completely, though it might come off with soap and water if I rubbed harder than I do. It's a rich black and the point can be sharpened for a fine line. The lead is soft enough to make application very easy. I will buy this eyeliner again.

I really like this eyeliner. No harmful or junk ingredients. I use it only for tight lining my upper eyelid to bring more definition to my mature eyes. It lasts all day and doesn't smudge, budge or irritate my eyes. Good color payoff too. My only problem with it is when I have to sharpen it. It consistently breaks and I have to re-sharpen it and there is more breakage. I've already lost a fair amount of the pencil. Pacifica needs to fix this problem, or at least develop a sharpener for their pencils. I read a suggestion here on Amazon reviews to purchase the Mineral Fusion eyeliner/lipliner sharpener because it will sharpen everything with no breakage. Will update later with my results. Overall though, a very good eyeliner.****Update - 1-16-21**** The Mineral Fusion sharpener does a great job of sharpening my Pacifica eye pencil. No breakage what so ever and creates a nice point! It also sharpens all of my other brands of eye/lip pencils with no breakage or problems. This is probably the best sharpener I've ever purchased!

This doesn't smudge everywhere and make me look unintentionally goth. Instead it has a more natural delicate soft look and feel. Glides on smoothly, doesn't rub or tug. I have Sjogren's, which means among other things that I experience painful dryness in my eyes, mouth, nose, throat. My eyes are VERY sensitive so finding painless makeup is a challenge. This is exactly what I was looking for, including VEGAN!

I wanted to use it for emphasizing my eyes. It did work, and it is a nice color, but it was a thicker line than I wanted. Then when I tried to return it, it was impossible because it was from Pacifica.I guess they refuse returns, so BE CAREFUL. When you order from them, you're stuck.

I was wooking for sumfing for my eyebwows that was natuwal and found dis pawduct. Nowrmally I do not have eyebwows, but dis did just the twick.As swoon as I pwut it on, I got more tweats from my hooman and she twook dis glam shot for my mawdoling portfolio. It lasted all day while I was at the pawk, eating spaghetti with my date, and through my 12 hour nawp with my wormy toy.Easy to awpply, gweat color, long lasting. 4 paws out of 4 paws.

Have been using Pacifica eye pencils for several years. I have very sensitive, dry eyes and oily eyelids. This pencil stays on and when it does begin to wear off, it's so easy to apply. It never flakes nor causes me any irritation. It's better than all of the very expensive one's that I have purchased through the years.
