This works well. I use it to hold hot tea. Keeps it hot enough for me for several hours (be aware I do not like it steaming hot). No thermos is easy to clean in my opinion, but this is not too bad. I used it a lot every day for over a year before it finally broke. I immediately bought another one.

Keeps coffee hot for over 10 hours. Nothing else I’ve ever used comes close.

Even though it does have a tiny leak from the twist on cap, I do enjoy the travel mug.*Update: Leaked stopped, must have been something i was doing wrong.

UPDATE Sept 28th: 5 months later and the weak plastic broke. I did have concerns when I first bought the mug. But I thought my careful lifestyle would win the day. Nope. The mug is vulnerable in some key areas. Those being where there are hinges. The plastic they use is too weak for short term regular use. After just 5 months, the lid is of no use. Look at the picture and you’ll see what I mean. If they had gone for using stronger material, I still would be enjoying a product from one of my favorite Japanese companies. Now I’ll need to go looking for another company to trust for my commute.Original post in April:Some folks find it 'funny' that when drinking from the mug, your nose will probably make contact with the lid. Most of the time, I don't even notice the contact, and when I do it really doesn't bother me. My focus is on drinking from the mug and not my nose's experience with the mug.With that aside, this mug is FABULOUS!. 12 oz is all I need. I'll go to a coffee shop and have them fill it. EVEN WITH THE LID FLIPPED OPEN, the coffee stays hot for hours. That's right...I didn't say in the closed position but the open position my coffee stays hot for several hours. In fact, I have to keep it in the open position for at least 30 mins or else my coffee stays too hot for too long and I can't enjoy it right away.I've had this for about 2 months now. I use it every Sat/Sun morning at a local coffee shop. The cleaning of the mug is easy. There are several parts that come apart with ease.It also fits perfectly in the outside pouch of my Timbuk2 shoulder bag.

So, I have a nickel allergy. I did have an uncoated water bottle, but I wanted to get one that had the metal sealed away from the liquid just to be on the safe side, even though stainless doesn't usually cause issues, I didn't want to take the chance. Took some searching, and found this. Even if not for the allergy consideration, it is better than my previous bottle. It keeps drinks hot longer, and the coating makes it much easier to clean. My old one got tea stains pretty quickly, and this one i've had for about a month now, use it every day for some tea, and it is still fine. I also got this one because it was small, and it fits in the net pockets on the bag/purse i use, so even though it has no handle, or carrying loop, it's still portable, if you have a pocket it will fit in. The one downside is that the way the mouth opening is positioned, my nose hits the hinge of the lid when i drink. Not by a whole lot, but it may be an issue for people with larger noses.

Ik heb de oude model van deze ook. Die heeft een grotere dop is minder ergonomisch maar is veel beter gebouwd. Die heeft een grotere drinklip wat fijner is met drinken en hele mechanisme is veel steviger gebouwd. Die gaat al jaren goed mee. Bij deze lees ik meer problemen op termijn. Ik heb m verkocht na enkele keren gebruiken.

I'm often away from the house for up to 12 hours and its brilliant how the green tea in my little flask is still warm even after 10 hours.BUT the price DOESN'T justify its shortcomings, considering that the insulated lining WILL degrade relatively quickly by just looking at it.I ended up with 3 of these. Meticulously looked after them. only used soft wooden spoon from outset to remove tea bag. NEVER scrubbed inside. Only handwash and yet after owning it for one year my insulation is all peeled and flaking inside the flask. I contacted the seller SHOP-JAPAN and the manufacturer Zojirushi directly two weeks ago to ask about expected lifespan and durability and noone has bothered to get back to me.You re better off buying a Contigo for half the price, better durability and similar performance

Bought this bottle 1.5 months ago. Quality is normal, but price is low as well.
