Heavy duty work shirt that looks good too
This shirt is a great work shirt. I bought it to work outside on our property. The cotton is heavy which I expected. The navy blue color is nice and did not fade at all after washing. I would say that the shirt did shrink slightly but I expect that from 100% cotton. I'm 5'1" and 115 lbs with a 34D bust and this "small regular" size shirt fits me just fine. It is a bit more form fitting than I expected but still comfortable. I like that there is a chest pocket in case I need to stow my phone or keys.Other reviewers complained that the sleeves are too long and the shirt itself is too long. This is not a "fashion" shirt so I didn't expect it to fit perfectly. I prefer the longer sleeves so that I'm not pulling them down when driving the lawn tractor or riding the ATV around the property. Most motorcycle jackets are longer as your arms are outstretched when driving -- this shirt would be fine for motorcycle riding as well. I like that it is longer and won't come untucked.Overall Carhartt is a brand known for its rugged looks and sturdy wear. I'm going to buy more of these shirts in the other colors. It's hard to find a decent plain long-sleeved t-shirt on Amazon that doesn't have some sort of "fashion" slant being too short, off-one-shoulder, or with a fancy tie at the bottom. I just want a good-looking long-sleeved t-shirt. This one fits the bill.

Quality Workwear for Women
I absolutely love this shirt! It's not a girly-girl shirt, and it's not meant to be. Carhart is known for their quality workwear and I love that they have included women. The shirt is heavy weight cotton, it holds it's shape, the cuffs are comfortable and stay in place, and it's long enough to stay tucked in while working. I will be purchasing one in each color. I'm 5'5" 135 lbs. and MED fits me perfectly.

The perfect basic black tee
Thick, high quality fabric, durable construction, super basic. It fits true to size with a little extra room in the midsection-- it's not "women's fit" or overly tailored in, which is exactly what I wanted. It can be so difficult to find basics for women that aren't overly embellished or tailored but are still high quality, and men's sizes are often too long or too large. This is none of those things. Bless you, Carhartt. Will definitely be buying more colors!I'm 5'2", 32D and 27" waist, I ordered a small and it fits great. Like I said, it's roomy in the waist so there's flexibility there, but, if your chest is larger than mine, might want to size up.

Nice but not a feminine fit in slightest. “Classic fit”= men’s fit
There is no doubting this is carhart. The fabric is tough and a little more rough than I’d wanted. I thought this would be thinner and softer. It is a more rugged cotton. I think with a bunch of washes it will calm down. Sizing is ok I got a bunch of stuff from amazon delivered and it seems like everything I got is too big. I got the Large in navy. I am 5’2” 158 lbs with a D chest. The Large fits ok at my chest but is too big everywhere else which is generally the case w me. It is not remotely a feminine fit which I think it says like classic fit. The arms are too long and baggy, the stomach area is too long and baggy, and the shoulder seams angle out too much to come down past my shoulders which makes me look wider than I am up top. Not a good look. BUT! I am giving it a chance and will hope that with washes, dries, and wears it begins to morph a little better into “my shirt”. For now I solved issues by tying a knot w a hair tie which I do for many shirts, and rolling/scrunching up the sleeves. I may eventually hem the sleeves like I have to do with everything. Hopefully the shirt just molds more to me and I like it a bit more. For now it’s “ok”, but I know it’s a quality shirt so that’s why I’m not docking too many stars. I have an annoying body shape to fit that’s not the shirts problem.

Size down!
READ!! Size down! I know some reviews can be misleading when they say to size down, but this one you have to unless you want to wear a dress. Bought this originally in a medium and it was huge, but I anticipated it would shrink...it did not. So I ordered it in a small and it fits PERFECT! Still baggy enough but flattering at the same time and the shoulder aren’t too wide anymore. I’m 5’7” and 155 pounds on a good day, and I am THICK. If I can fit into a small perfectly, then you should consider sizing down. I plan to buy prob every color. It’s warm enough and you can tell buy the fabric it will last a long time.

It’s an excellent work shirt
I purchased this shirt for my shop class. It is very well made with fine quality material so it’s exactly what I need. Although the comfort design fits as expected, I can still layer both a t-shirt and a thermal shirt underneath when needed. The bonus is the much needed, functional pocket. In class we get oily and dusty handling things like paints and basic tools. For this type of work or for just wearing around the house, I definitely recommend this shirt; It’s one of my favorites!
