Nice Product to Save Space
It was quite easy to assemble. I think this was due to pass complaints that parts were not identified. All parts are now ID. My 12 year and 14 years old help me with pulling parts and some lifting. You can use power tool on some part of the assembly to make it easier.Surprised no parts were missing or mis-identified. We did read instructions ahead to make sure we have correct parts before assembling.Recommend not to tighten everything until the end. Also the cross beams will fit into their slots, don't force it. Use the hollow area to make the bar fit. When Installing the plastic round locks, bend them open first as shown so it will be easier on your finger snapping them into place.I needed help from my older son to spot and help hold while I assembly the big pieces together. Overall it took us about 2 hrs to complete the assembly.Need to buy some anchors the unit to the wall because it does move. This is a good product overall. Good Luck.

Consider external factors
The bed is great! Not just for kids, great for adults. I can sit comfortably underneath it with my laptop and work and then just go up to sleep. Straightforward build. Everything labeled. Took a few hours but not bad at all. I have the LOW loft and it feels sturdy. I made sure the clearance underneath would be enough for me and it IS. Good product! However, consider EXTERNAL factors:If your upstairs neighbor is noisy and stomps around or jumps or whatever they do… this loft will bring you closer to the noise since it’s closer to the ceiling. My ceiling isn’t that high so the noise is now closer to me. It makes a big difference and not in a good way :(Second, the pipes that run with hot water to heat the apartment are on the ceiling. Now my face is hot hot by the morning time. I’m scared my skin will dry and age faster. :( I can’t control the heat so I just have to figure out what I’m gonna do. :(So, the bed itself is awesome! Ladder isn’t painful or maybe my feet are just that tough lol.Great bed. But consider your ceiling and heating. Also you will need a rock to pound in the grey things for the poles. You’ll see what I’m talking about!

Sturdy, safe and quality materials
Love the end ladder versus side load. Safety. Love the slat side safety bars versus round. Easy to make. Lay the parts out. REMOVE all the cardboardm stryo and wrap from the room. Step by step instructions are very good. Get your 6 year old mechancially minded grandson to insert and start, and semi-tighten threaded machine screws. Follow up by tightening. Easy to build, high qaulity framing materials, and hardware. Right at 2 hours total time to assemble. Weak link is 4mm allen wrench...a little too short to spin it faster and short end will hit neighboring cross pieces. I just grabbed my longer one, with round ball tip hex end to use at different angles...from my Harley mechanics tools and it was supper easy. Without that, a llittle more nerve-wracking and will probably take an extra 10-15 minutes with the wrench provided. Plenty of extra parts if needed. I would still buy it.

Very easy to assemble - should brace it
So my number one concern with a bed like this from Amazon was the quality and ease of assembly. It was super easy to build. My 9 year old son and I built it in about 2 hours. It’s good construction but it does wobble quite a bit. I bought 1.5” U brackets and anchored it to the wall and it is absolutely solid and does not move at all.Overall I’d definitely buy again.

Top Rail Broken
Top rail needs to be welded better! It did come apart at the seems. Overall good bed for the price that I paid of $150 but that top rail is a safety concern. Even with kids being "aware" not to lean on it and my 9 year old does not play in the bed it still broke.

Replacement screws
Product is awesome. I bought this for my son and we had a house fire. I love this bed but the only thing is it’s hard getting in contact with the company to get replacement screws. I have tried to search on the website but the model information has not been provided .

Nice low loft bed for little kids
Bought the bed for my 6 year old. He loves that he has a space to play underneath! Seems sturdy and doesn't make a lot of noise as he climbs in. I only gave it 4 stars because the ladder rungs could be better so it's a flat bar to step on rather than a small square beam. I also had trouble finding a mattress that was thin enough but would still fill the area. The one we ended up getting was like 3 to 4 inches too small length and width wise. We shoved a pillow down the side next to the ladder, so it doesn't move. Works fine for us since he has a giant teddy bear to help with the gap on the length side.

So glad I purchased it
I bought this for my grandson’s stays and, having downsized to about 33% of the space I had been living in, I knew this would be a good value. It has essentially added an additional 12-15sqft of living space. Right now I’m overwintering my houseplants underneath it with grow lights hanging from the bars and my hanging plants can also hang there between grandson visits. The little desk can be an office or crafts space once I get the plant situation sorted out better. I like that it’s (extremely sturdy) powder-coated metal so additional humidity from the plants won’t affect it. I actually show this item to plant people who don’t even have kids: not only can you use it for plants but you could even create an indoor mini-greenhouse by hanging shower curtains or tarps around the edges to hold in humidity. It can be a guest bed (especially in queen size; this is twin) in a spare bedroom while also allowing use of that space for office, crafts, additional storage, etc. or just use the top for storage if you don’t have an attic—so many ideas of how to use this item even without using it for a bed! Think outside the box.Get it for your college-bound kid then save it for their kids once they’ve graduated and started a family. It really is a very good buy that I’m so pleased with.
