Good quality from a good company
I like the appearance, the fact that the sink comes with a grate (which you don't have to use) which sits on rubber feet about an inch above the sink bottom. Easy to clean. Comes with strainer basket which you won't need if you have a garbage disposal. I liked that I could reference the dimensions before I ordered it and it fit almost perfectly without my having to get a granite company to cut my countertop. I figured I could always return it if it didn't appear to fit. But it did.

Fantastic sink for the price! Fits (just barely!) in 30" Kraftmaid sink base.
I wanted a big, sturdy sink for our kitchen remodel. The layout demanded a 30" sink base, this was the biggest sink that the description said fit a 30" base, so we took a chance on it.Our local Kraftmaid rep happened to be at our house to issue replacement doors, and we spoke with him about our sink plans. We were concerned about compromising the structural integrity of the sink, or voiding the manufacturer's excellent warranty. We would have to cut out part of the wood on the top of both sides to get the sink to fit.He said that in no way would it void Kraftmaid's warranty. The wood pieces we were cutting apparently are for attaching Formica to the top of the cabinet - they do not affect the structural integrity of the cabinet at all! There is enough room in the base to leave ~1" on either side of the sink, once the cut has been made.We were thrilled and ordered the Kraus that day.Our plumber was impressed with the quality of the sink. We got lucky with installation, we had less than 1/4" clearance for the drain pipe underneath because we had not anticipated such a deep sink and drain - definitely make sure your plumber has the spec sheet info for the depth of the drain so he allows enough room underneath for the drain rough-in.We are so glad we did! The sink is cavernous - we can stack a pile of dirty dishes on one side, and strain a pot of pasta into a full-sized colander on the other.Overall a beautiful, durable sink for an excellent price, comes with all the accessories, and fits into a 30" sink base - this was a home run in our reno and one of the few decisions we didn't agonize over or second-guess (once we knew it would fit!)We would have loved to support an American company (the Kraus is made in China), however we put chunks of our reno budget towards bigger ticket items made in the USA (appliances, cabinets, etc), and were happy to get a quality sink for a reasonable price.

Quiet, well made, perfect size, stylish
First of all, I wanted a single bowl sink that didn't overwhelm my kitchen counter. And, I wanted a sink that was less industrial looking than the commercial-like sinks. The design of the sink with its rounded corners makes cleaning easy. Like all stainless products, it shows water spots if you don't wipe them up. But Kraus included a micro-towel for this purpose. The sink is quiet due to the sound dampening Kraus has put on the outside walls and underside. I especially like the drain rack that fits in the bottom. It is functional but stylish. The rack comes with extra feet and bumpers so you can replace them when you need to. While this is a relatively small sink, I can put a dishpan on one side and still have room in the sink to rinse things off. A great choice for the new quartz counters we had installed.

Impressive, high quality sink - great bang for your buck!
When this sink came I was immediately impressed with the attention to detail and care that the company shows in packaging and presentation. The 40 /60 sink is roomy and deep; it's perfect for large pots and pans. The 16 gauge stainless is nice and heavy and the insulation will help with noise. I looked at both of the main home improvement stores and didn't find anything close in quality to this sink in the same price range. The grids that are custom fit for each side are nice and heavy and will help keep the bottom of the sink looking great for years to come. I definitely got the best bang for my buck with this purchase.

Excellent Replacement, Easy to Install
Our old undermount sink was divided into two basins, each of which was too small to comfortably wash large items. Once I found out it was secured to the countertop with simple clips and silicone, it was a no-brainer to replace. This Kraus had the closest measurements while still being at a pretty attractive price (it also had curved corners, which seems a rarity). Undermount installation was shockingly easy: I had one helper hold the old sink as I undid the old clips, then I scraped the old adhesive away with a razor (learn from me, use glasses & a mask). Once cleaned with alcohol, I applied a new bead of silicone to the Kraus, and then Helper lifted it into place and did fine positioning while I secured the clips from underneath. I braced with some 2x4 pieces to help the clips while the adhesive cured. One last bead of silicone along the inner edge, and we were done. Two things merit knocking off a star:1) While the outer dimensions are nearly perfect, the curve for each corner is very wide. Since I was working with an existing counter opening (it comes with a paper guide if you're making a fresh cut), it's not quite perfect. Still, this is minor and it's not like I was going to compare arc angles. No one will notice but me.2) The sink trap assembly is VERY deep. The sink itself is 9" deep, but the trap goes down a further 4.5". This was a lot more than I planned for, so I had to get some specialty fittings in order to plumb it. Also, the outer cup of the drain assembly is plastic. I can't figure out how water won't eventually get trapped between this outer plastic cup and the the inner metal one - there's no gasket where they meet at the bottom. You could always get a different drain assembly, and I might end up switching it one day.All in all, I'm VERY happy with this sink. Time will tell if it scratches badly (I got the regular version), and I'll try to update this if it happens. For now, it looks great, doesn't sound like thunder when the tap is on, and feels very secure. Highly recommended with the small caveat that you might do better with a different drain.
