Swanson Ox Bile - Standardized 90 mg 60 Caps

MY THESIS: This product really works well.There was a time, some 25 years ago, when I was experiencing acid reflux. Not believing much of the allopath community in how to deal with it, I bought a supplement, made by Enzymatic Therapy, which not only stopped reflux in its tracks but after only a couple of bottles it cured me for all these years. This supplement had a dietary Hydrochloric Acid AND OX BILE in it, among other thingsThen I got COVID, late last year (2021), and felt the familiar past symptoms of food-heaviness upon eating a full meal. I needed to get some more Enzymatic Therapy stomach enzyme product like I had before, but they were sold to 'Nature's Way.' The new product is called 'Pro-Gest-Ade.' .. Well, as Executives would have-it they eventually changed the formulae so that it's almost worthless (in my experience). 'Nature's Way' even eliminated the Ox Bile from their formulae. Now, let me warn you that some Internet pictures STILL show Ox Bile among the ingredients in the bottle, but let me tell you, 'unless you can find a real-old bottle, it's not in there.Then comes Swanson and their Ox Bile product. When it arrived I took one capsule with a full mean and relief was in-sight. On 2 more consecutive days I took a capsule with full meal and by the 3rd day I didn't need it anymore. It's been a couple weeks since I received Swanson's Ox Bile from Amazon and I give it my best endorsement.Obviously I can't say this will be your experience but it's been mine.

My very small dog's liver tested very poorly. My vet suggested ox bile to help. I originally tried an ox bile with additional digestive enzymes twice a week. Those pills gave my dog severe hives. Then I tried these pills twice a week. No hives and six months later, her liver scored are back in normal range! I'm continuing to administer these pills and am very happy with the results.

On carnivore diet right now. I need a much higher dose.

The product should show that it contains iron which might not be a problem for those who need iron but for me caused constipation

Digestive aid bought for a friend who has success using a compound with ox bile in it, so we decided to buy the pure ox bile to see if it would work. So far so good.

If you've had gallbladder removal, Ox Bile is an almost must in my book!! My surgeon/doctor never mentioned supplementing to make digestion easier but they should. I take one a day with each meal and if I eat meat, I chew papaya digestive enzymes. They both make a world a difference in how I feel.
