It鈥檚 Deadpool you see what you get violence and comedy. I enjoyed how the stories connected even when the art style changed.

Love this series!
Deadpool is one of my favorite mutants, so I wanted to get a collection of comics that did the character justice. I'm usually not interested in newer comics because they are always very outlandish and different from the original Marvel idea but this collection (I think) stuck to the original authentic Deadpool and didn't deviate much. Love the writer of this series, he really knows how to infuse the right amount of comedy, badass-ness, and action into a Deadpool comic. Great illustration, very vivid and colorful. It was way cheaper to buy this book on Amazon as opposed to Barnes and Noble or an actual comic book store because those venues sell it by the original publication price of $34.99 which I thought was a bit much. It was also cheaper to buy this collection than to go out and buy all of the individual comic books from this series because those were about $14.99 each. You get all twelve comic books plus some extra comics from other series by the author for around $25. WORTH IT.

Great book for the price, funny, action packed
Deadpool by Daniel Way Volume 1 is an impressively sized book for the cost. The stories contained and the interpretation of the character portrayed is in my opinion inferior to what Gary Duggan and Brian Pohsen have currently been doing. To be fair this is the first volume and Way very well may hit his stride further into the series. Steve Dillons art in the Wolverine Origins issues was for some reason offputting to me but the moments it produced between two all time great characters were amazing. Once we get into the regular series with Paco Medina as regular penciller it elevates the stories so much more. The Thunderbolts issues also suffer from sub par artwork but the story is more than good enough to save it. The remaining issues with Wade battling Bullseye are probably the best as a whole. Overall it is an action packed easy read that is well worth the low price.

Great value for a cool comic
Deadpool is one of my sons favorite comics. I would not let him see the movie as it was not appropriate (however it was good). He saw this comic book at the store the same week of Comic Con and he really wanted it, however it was $35 so I decided to check on Amazon, This is my go to site for everything as the prices are great and the delivery time is amazing. It was $15 cheaper and I had the comic in two days. He is going to visit family in another state so he will have something cool to read on the airplane. I like it because he gets this collection in one book. The illustration in this book is great, very vivid and colorful. Definitely a great purchase in my opinion!

A Comic-Book Volume That Doesn't Shut Up
Got curious after having seen the movie.Like any comic book of superheroes, it's fast-paced. It has a straight-forward story, no need for big explanations. Like a good movie, this volume is full of twists and turns. Deadpool is shown going through a lot of things. You see him fight Wolverine hand-to-hand and using elaborate yet simple traps. Then, he makes everyone think he defects to the Skrulls. Then, he looks to get even with Osborn. The portrayal of the character is what I'm familiar with. The man is deranged. He hallucinates and has voices inside his head, but he also comes off as a planner in this, which has people think he's smarter than he sounds.I was expecting fourth-wall breaks like Deadpool complaining about the writing, but there are still gags in the comics to make any reader laugh. I also expected the swears to not be censored, knowing that Deadpool is foul-mouthed. Then again, small detail. What sells this book and possibly others is the action and humour. Nary a dull moment.
