We use this pan to roast turkeys at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is made with lighter weight material than most of our other Calphalon cookware but we only use it a few times a year and not every day like the other cookware. At this price point it's exactly what you would expect. The material is non stick and works great. The handles were double riveted so they are nice and secure and it works great for making giblet gravy as well. We've roasted 15-20 lb turkeys with no trouble at all.If you roast a lot your probably going to be fine spending more money on a nicer pan. If you roast a few times a year this pan will work great. There are no imperfections in the material and it is well made.

The best thing about this pan is its easy clean up. Good for any roast, from turkey to leg of lamb.

GREAT FOR ROASTING
I love this pan. It can hold anywhere from a 10 lb turkey to a 25 lb. one. So easy to clean and I ran it in my dishwasher. Exactly as described and very quick shipping and delivery. I'll be using this for years to come.

Came Through on Thanksgiving
We used this pan and rack to cook our Thanksgiving turkey. We're a young family and this was our first time hosting the holiday for our parents. We baked a 15lb turkey coated in butter, mayo and chicken stock. That mixture coated the bottom of the pan and caramelized in the oven heat. I was amazed at how seamless clean up was -- we barely had to scrub when washing the pan. Another great part to this pans is that the handles are fixed and not hinged, so picking it up out of the oven with clumsy oven mitts was easy. It's a great value and I see it lasting for many, many years.

Heavy and worth it
The roaster is heavy duty and very sturdy. The side handles are perfect for being able to lift it out of the oven without getting burned or being awkward. The rack also works very well.
