Bought it for soap making and it's been great. I use it for soap and food. Haven't had any issues with it. Strong enough to blend baked potato soap, various sauces. I do like that the blender part comes apart from the motor for ease of cleaning.

I read an article about making your own mayo they said to get an immersion mixer. I had all my ingredients waiting when it arrived. 1 cup avocado oil, (other oils will work but aren't as good for you). 2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp of salt (I don't use salt) I added 1/2 tsp garlic juice, 1 tbsp. vinegar (I like cider vinegar any will do) 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard, 1 room temp egg (the hole thing. Add all together in a wide mouth pint jar. Stick the mixer on top of the egg yolk for at least 20 seconds, with the button to high without moving it and lift it up and down until all of the oils is blended in. Takes less than two minutes. (I have also used regular mustard and am going to try Coleman's dry mustard. I feel like a gourmet cook! My friends are amazed. So am I! I am playing with different ingredients. I really like adding 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. I haven't tried making anything else.

I received my item a few days ago which was on time. However today I used it for the first time and all I was doing was mixing a pudding consistency for no more than a minute and a half intermittently it smelled burning and began getting hot in my hands. Upon looking at the item I noticed that the lettering was starting to fade away. I immediately stopped using it took the two pieces apart as you can see in the picture there are plastic shavings all with inside I would not recommend this item.

Great hand held little blender! Works great. Easy to use. Great value.

Originally purchased this 12/22. I’ve been using it for two year and it’s excellent. So easy to whip sauces, puree soups, even make mashed potatoes in a jiffy. Love it. Except for a few specific tasks, the big expensive stand mixer is an ornament now.
