Like silk stockings!
These ‘pop’ socks are a beautiful quality as you might expect from Sockshop. They have a very silky finish and well made hold upcuffs. Honestly, it was like taking an expensive 1940s pair of silk stockings out of the packet! Unfortunately I bought the hazelnut which might be better for Asian/Caribbean/Mediterranean skin tones for a nude look but which were a bit too dark for me as I have not had much sunbathing this summer! I will keep them because they will be fine under jeans. I may now order the nude as they are such good quality. 🙂EDIT ordered the lighter nude pairs and have been wearing both over Christmas (with boots and shoes that have not broken in yet so need stretching) - no ladders and really cool, comfortable and breathable, not light tights fabric at all.

Colour not as expected and small for size 7 foot
Ordered navy, but more of a dark teal. Also tends to small side for size 7 foot, with sock ending up around mid calf if not constantly pulling up. That said good value for money for 5 pairs, delivered earlier than expected.

Comfortable and good quality.
I was worried that these would be too tight around the tops as I have big calves (I'm told I have rugby player's legs, lol), but they are actually really comfortable and very stretchy. They are perfect for what I need them for, and I was pleasantly surprised when I put them on as I wasn't actually expecting the quality to be great, but they're really soft and silky feeling, and they feel pretty much the same as some more expensive stockings and tights that I've worn. Haven't had them long enough to know how well they will last, but they seem sturdy enough. I ordered the nude, and although they won't be seen when I'm wearing them, the colour is nice and not too dark, and they have a bit of a shimmer to them.Very happy with purchase and happy to recommend to others.

They Don’t stay up.
These knee highs fall down to the ankles in about 5 minutes of walking in them. The blue ones I bought do exactly the same. Very disappointing.
