Really Happy
The media could not be loaded. I'm really happy with this product I'm glad I spend a little extra to get something nicer. It's quiet it does its job and my fish don't seem to mind it. Word to the wise my tank is a 55 gallon which is the recommended minimum for this pump. In order to fit it comfortably in my tank I had to move gravel so I could place the pump.

All around good filter
I tried this filter since I like the biomaster filter I have on my larger aquarium. I love that you can have the heater in the filter as well. Got the 200 per the chart on their store page that states it as good for a heavily planted 20 gallon tank with medium to high fish bioload.Have two critiques: one is it is very large. Had to dig the gravel out of the corner so this fit low enough. Second is the output flow is very high. My 20 gallon has a betta, he was spinning in circles. All the plants were waving in the flow. The two flow options they have (single and spread) were both too strong. I had to put the output directly in between so the flow was lower and went out both areas.Overall though this is very nice and compact filter. Again I love that it comes with a heater added to it. If you have a betta or fish that needs low flow you may need to make adjustments, my plants were not enough to buffer it.

Good performance for the price
I used this for a 60 gallon aquarium. Easy to install and easy to maintain. For the money, this is a very good pick up

Perfect for Corner Aquariums
I like everything about this product, excellent! Very quiet.

Didn't last long.
I bought this filter as a addition the the canister filter I run under my tank. I have had it not for less than six months and it has stopped running. I have always taken great care when cleaning and changing water in my tank and I've used a bunch of their filters before. I just did not like the design and function of this filter. Not the best option in my opinion.

Great filter, unless you have shrimp. Then you must modify to make shrimp safe.

NOT suitable for saltwater
Oase does state in very small print that this unit is for Freshwater Use Only. That statement should be in LARGE print. Or better yet, they should coat the magnets so they don't corrode in saltwater and everything would be just fine!!!

Bad part.
Heater unit arrived with temp controls apart.Can't get it calibrated, and shouldn't HAVE TO.
