Pataks Tikka Masala Paste 10 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I love Pataks brand because I can count on their flavor to be authentic and this masala paste is no exception! I like to mix this up with a little lemon juice and olive oil and toss cauliflower, sweet potatoes and delicata squash in it and stick them in the oven to bake on a baking sheet. You will have veggies that everyone in the family will love!

Great flavor, but I'm disappointed there isn't any of the creaminess in the paste, just the spices and oils. Maybe they changed their recipe or it wasn't their brand (I could swear it was, though!), but the last jar I bought had the cream added in so if you didn't have milk or coconut milk on hand, it still had the yummy flavor of the traditional tikka masala. Also, this paste has a bit more of a curry flavor than I expected. Again, it's great, just not what I thought I was getting! If anyone knows the product I'm thinking of with the creaminess incorporated into the paste, please comment, I can't find it anywhere and I loved it!

Alright, I am A big fan of Chicken Tikka Masala. This product help me make one of thee best Chicken Tikka Masala I have ever eaten. I used the recipe that was right on the side of the jar. I got an email a few days after I ordered this asking to let the company know when I received, and to let them know everything was okay with it. I personally like that kind of service and will definitely buy from this company again.

Delicious. Somewhat spicy. A little goes a long way. I'd say I'm using about a teaspoon per bowl of veggies with coconut milk and sweetener for a great meal. This will probably make me about 30 servings.

Bottle was broken. Paste leaked everywhere. No refund or replacement given.

Not nearly punchy enough for a curry. Kinda bland actually. Lacks depth of flavor. The sour aspect is unfortunately due to the "canning" process- to make it shelf stable the pH has to be quite low. Hence the vinegar which is out of place for this recipe. For a quick meal a jar works, but at no more than $3 per. The actual recipe/technique for making Chicken Tikka Masala is fairly easy and not very time consuming; though it will cost slightly more than what a jarred sauce will cost.I suggest passing on this product.
