I love them
I love almost everything about these headphones, even opening the box you don't have to go through a minefield of cardboard packing and oddly packaged angles to get at the product. The fit is superb and snug comfort fit is so complete its like having noise cancelling enabled when your wearing them. Oddly this is one the things I find a bit off putting (no complaints on the headphones this is just my use of prior headphones coming into play). Normally when I'm mixing and typically have sound from the speakers leaking in through the ear cups, which helps me mix, being so completely sonically isolated a while to get used to.The Build quality is superb and of course I'd expect nothing less, but there is no sign or feeling that any quality aspect of the headphones have been compromised. The sound is fantastic. Clear clean and accurate. Neither bass heavy (though they have no problems producing bass if you wish) nor high or mid emphasised. Probably he cleanest sounding set of headphones I've had to date. The only thing I wondered (though not necessarily complained) about is the detachable cable. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with it, it's a precise 3.5mm bayonet fitting that fits snuggly with no play or tension, but I expected to find a cable permanently attached. I can only suppose they've don this in case any issues ever do arise with the cable (I once partly severed one with the rollers on my office chair) then it can be easily replaced.Anyway, not making this too long. Just happy I finally found this (through no short period of searching).

Fantastic Sound Quality, Great Build
I have used these (wired) Pioneer headphones for DJ-ing and for recreational use and they are the best headphones I have ever had.For DJ-ing - they are an over-ear fit, rather than on the ear, which for DJ-ing is far better as they block out the loud music allowing you to listen to tracks being cued. They have incredible clarity at low, mid and high end. Very little distortion and they are really loud.Recreationally they are just a superb headphone. I have not had any issues with hurting of the ears or head or any issues of them being flimsy.Simply the best headphones I have ever owned and one the best products I have ever bought. They are brilliant.AJ

Less robust than advertised.
I have a wired pair and these bluetooth one.audio, it's amazing. It's why I decided to buy a bluetooth set for listening on the go.However the build quality is shocking.I'm careful with everything I buy. I look after my kit and I wouldn't consider myself heavy handed. but roughly 1 year after buying mine have now fell apart.I have the exact same fault with my wired pair. there will develop a very tiny crack where the arms connect to the earpads.that crack over time has got worse and they fell apart. It's a plastic part in a position of structural weakness.would I recommend buying them again, after owning two pair? No. for the build quality aloneIf you believe you can be gentle with them. audio is really good.In fact probably the best I've ever owned.Just a shame they don't last as long as they look they would.

Decent and do the job for DJing, loud!
A decent enough sound to mix on in the club, they’re loud, sound quality is ok for this price. Yep I’d recommend for this price. I wouldn’t recommend for normal home listening or music production, they’re not made for that.

Very comfortable
Very pleased, well packaged and good sound quality.

Great for getting started as a DJ
Amazing sound quality, and bought for a bargain. My only issue is a really fiddly 3-way fold design - there's a 5% chance the headphones will fold into an incorrect position during a live set, and you'll spend a minute or 2 trying to figure out how to restore them to normal position. Personally, I don't think they should not have won a design award based on this anomaly.

Do Not Buy These Headphones!
Pioneer DJ HDJ-X5BT-K Bluetooth DJ Headphones - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - shockingly bad quality headphones which have completely disintegrated in less than 5 years of basic home use. Pioneer should be ashamed to have this product for sale - and I have been a loyal supporter of this brand for years.

Great sound, not the most comfortable
Sound is great, works well in loud club environment. The build quality could be better, I’m not sure how long the plastic pivots will last before they crack. They’re not as comfortable as my old Shure headphones, I can feel something inside the cup rubbing on my ear whilst wearing, but it is tolerable.
