Weber # 78960 Gas Grill Repl Control Knob for Spirit 500 & 700 Genesis 1000-5500 and Genesis Silver & Gold Prior to 2004 Model Year

The top of the knob has a different shape, but it works perfectly on my old Spirit 200 grill.

Good price and fit perfectly. Knobs are slightly larger than original but by only about 5%. They are thicker as well which hopefully means they will last longer.

What can I say? They look exactly like the one of three that didn't get lost in moving. And they work is just as well. Of course they are direct replacements, OEM.Sure I could have cleaned my 2003 Weber silver C but then that wouldn't be honest with it. I usually wipe it down once every couple of months but I just wanted to demonstrate that the knob at the very top is he last of the originals. And they look exactly the same even though this Grill is almost 16 years old. This thing still ignites with the same igniter. The only thing I have ever replaced on it besides these knobs are the metal inserts inside which I had forgotten what they're called. The key to maintaining it working perfectly for all those years is to clean it while it's still hot after each use. Once every 6 months take it all apart and clean out all the crap on the inside. I bought the cover for it when I first got it but my dog at the time chewed it to hell and I've never covered it since. These are the most durable grills ever

The only downside was my not realizing I was only getting one I thought I was getting a set of three

The knob was larger than the original knobs and larger than expected, but a positive surprise. Feels like an upgrade and replaced knobs that I could no longer adequately clean. Feels a little overpriced, but judged to be worth it because size/quality was better than expected.

After trying multiple "universal" fit knobs and returning them, I spent the extra money on 3 of these and they all fit perfectly.
