I got this little guy thinking it was a pack of all 4 versions, but it's only one.He does not hold up anything and topples right over and no amount of bending his arms will correct this.Hindsight being what it is, I would still have gotten him. The reason is that he brings me joy.He sits on the shelf near my bed and several times a day, including when I first get up, I see him.His arms are stretched to the sky as if in a cheer of HUZZAH! So he has become "Huzzah! crab" to my husband and I.Every morning and at random times a day, we will notice his adorable face and determined stance and reach our arms up and say Huzzah! to each other.This little crab had been a wonderful investment in self care and relational joy!

This is easily the best thing you can buy for your desk. Better than a computer. Can a computer offer you a writing utensil adorably? Nope. This thing can though!Okay let's keep this short and simple. The crab itself is super light so it won't support the weight of a phone or anything, however it's sturdy enough for a pen, chapstick, or...I dunno man. Other small cylindrical like objects. It's cute and actually functional for me. I misplace my sharpie all the time when I want to take notes, but now this adorable lil guy is here to help! If I had to complain, I'd say the paint job on it seems like it might wear off, but I dunno...keep your grubby mitts off of it! You shouldn't be touching it that much anyways!

The media could not be loaded. Ordered this as a gift for a friend - now I don't think I'll be giving it to them. It is a very cute little crab despite feeling somewhat cheap, but the whole point of the crab is to be a penholder, and this poor thing can't hold pens. At all.The whole crab is very lightweight - the heaviest part is the claws, which have nothing to counterbalance them. This means the crab is EXTREMELY unbalanced and front-heavy and even without a pen to hold, tends to fall forwards very easily.All this means that the crab can't support any weight in its claws. If you put a pen in its claws, it is going to fall flat on its face and send the pen rolling away. Cute... but it can never fulfill its purpose.

I got this as part of a meme gift for my fiance themed around crabs, and he loves it. Keeps it as a decoration on his desktop. I'd say this gift went down well

This thing is definitely smaller than I expected, though I guess thats on me for reading the measurements as 5 inches instead of centimeters. The crab is tiny and kinda flimsy (I can bend all of its limbs) and it definitely can't hold a pen. I was able to get it to hold a nail file after fiddling with it a bit. Overall I gave it four stars because it made me laugh and was just as stupid as I expected it to be, if your looking for something that will actually hold a pen or pencil then you should probably continue your search, because this crab is small and not at all mighty lol.

I'm not sure how I got one of the few defective ones (maybe I didn't, I did read reviews where people had to modify this with weights for it to work) but I did. This simply doesn't hold a pen. I used my absolute lightest smallest pen and it doesn't hold it at all. He just falls over. He'll hold a Q-tip or a few tooth picks but that's about it. He falls over. I messed with the legs and arms but they don't stay in place. The only way to get it to work is to attach a weight to his bottom or stick him to the desktop so he can't move.Yeah, it's a cute crab. Now it's one of my daughter's toys because she thinks he's cute and he is. Better used as a toddler toy than a pen holder. And way overpriced for either purpose.

Had to put a penny weight under his butt so he'd hold a Wacom pen, but Crabby rises to the occasion and holds the pen without any complaints or drops. He's my friend who lives beneath my monitor on the desk. This guy is special. He's a great addition to family. Update: I took off the coin and put a small magnet on his little crabby butt and placed him on a monitor stand. He's a fun guy.

love this guy, absolutely adorable but too weak to hold up even a pencil. doesn't balance correctly so not even my lightest writing utensil could be held up. still a cute desk friend
