So, I bought this on a whim because my name is Laura. Now I’m obsessed with it as it’s exceeded all my expectations.At first I was worried because the perfume smelled a bit alcoholy out of the bottle and I’d read reviews claiming it’s fake. It is not fake.The box was sealed in plastic and it was shipped with care and lots of cushioning. And as soon as the fragrance settles onto your skin, it smells wonderful. It’s also lasted all day!It is perfect for summer but I could see it worn year round. I don’t think of myself as a floral girl with a few exceptions. Typically I like something more sweet, spicy and woody but I may be a convert. This fragrance can best be described as clean, I think, but it has so much going on and it’s really special. It’s not clean like soap or laundry, just fresh and light and beautiful, slightly floral and fruity but overall it’s soft and beautiful and I found myself smelling my wrists all day.I hope they never stop making this because I love it so much!This is the description on a popular fragrance website: Laura by Laura Biagiotti is a Floral fragrance for women. The scent is light. I think it's lovely, and quite feminine.

This is a very soft, and subtle floral scent. Not over bearing.

This is a very 1990's scent (created in 1994). It was the early days of the frooty tooty, flower explosion. This is a scent I wore for a very short time in the late 1990's - I quickly tired & grew out of it. I recently smelled it on my teenage niece & it took me back in time - I knew this scent immediately.There is a lot going on. Begins & ends with watermelon & peach, freesia, violet, lily of the valley then on to woody notes, musk, cedar & watery green notes. Somehow, this kind of works but it is not for me anymore. This is a young girl/young woman fragrance - a more sophisticated young girl than the "Fancy" wearing girls but still, young. It is not overly cloying sweet but still fruity sweet. The fruit is not terribly fake but it is definitely not sophisticated either.Has moderate sillage - I could smell it on my niece when I was next to her. It is not a really long lasting fragrance - when I tried her bottle, it lasted more than 3 hours on my skin. This was a trip back in time for me but one I will happily leave behind. But I do enjoy smelling it on my niece - this would be a good gift for a young girl/woman.
