perfect for the job
If you have ever worked with supporting sagging branches on small trees or tried to support tomatoes on a trellis you know the frustration with trying to use garden tape to wrestle with the branch and support. Well these little dandies put that practice in the dustbin of obsolete gardening habits. I use these to support young tomato plants while they establish a strong stalk. I will also be using them to support fruit bearing branches once the tomatoes set fruit. The small clips work best with the seedlings and young plants. I expect to use the large clamps to hold fruit bearing branches. It takes a little getting used to for figuring out the best approach to setting the clamp but once you have it figured out it works like a charm. I will be using both garden tape and these clamps as best suit the situation but these clamps will be my "go to" option in most cases. Using an angle frame in the form of a vee cut from hog panels has become my method to frame tomatoes. The regular ones from the garden shop of the big box stores are flimsy and weak. I like the added strength and support of hog panels and they can be free standing in most situations. A simple ground spike in the form of an inverted L will stabilize any that don't naturally free stand. Try a batch and I bet you'll come away saying why didn't I think of this earlier.

easy to use and a good price
These are a must have for my garden now that I have tried them. They are reusable, easy to use and a good price. I used them on my tomato and pepper plants this summer with great success. I just clipped them around the plant stem and onto the stake and they stayed put all season. Prior to this season I used a platic type of tape designed for the same purpose. That tape worked very well, but it was a one use type of product. I am happy to have a solution to staking my plants that can be used year after year. I did purchase another brand on Amazon that was just like these here, but with less clips in the packet and more pricey, so at first I hesitated on buying these thinking they were of less quality. I am so glad I got these because they are exactly the same, more clips and less money. A great product and value in my mind.

IIT 30510 Plant and Garden Clips
These IIT 30510 Plant and Garden Clips are pinch to open, spring loaded clips for holding up plant stems are priced at about 5$, for a selection to two sizes. 1 inch approximately and a second at about 1-1/2 inch. The spring is strong and the clip should last a couple seasons if it doesn't rust away. When used with bamboo stakes in m garden, I found the two part hole a good idea as it clips on the bamboo and gives the plant plenty of room to expand. It is easy to move and be re-usable when the previous need has passed with a harvest. I like them.

Plant clips for staking up plants
These proved a nice strong clamp to clip plants to stakes. Between the two different sizes I have been able to use the most appropriate one for different plants and one or the other always seems to fit perfectly. They fit well to both bamboo and the plastic covered metal garden stakes. They are easy to secure and easy to move as the plants grow. They have held up well so far, though I've only had them outside for about a month.

Works very well for cucumbers and tomatos
The media could not be loaded. I purchased these clips for cucumber and tomato plants. They work very well, the narrow loop looks to the trellis, the bigger opening keeps the vine where I want it to be. The clips open easily and lock in securily while the stem of the plant is not squeezed at all. I am very pleased with them.Ali Julia review

Favorite plant clip/tie
I've tried just about every kind of tie out there from old pantyhose to the foam ties to velcro, etc. These, however, are now the first thing I grab for out of my gardening bag. I use them on everything from my tomatoes and peppers to training my cantaloupe to grow up trellis netting. The clip is strong and for pure convenience I'm not sure they can be beat. Tying or twisting doesn't take that much longer, no, but just being able to grab, clip and move on is almost addictive. They can be removed and relocated far easier than any other system. As someone who doesn't have a dollar store near me, they are easily worth the price Amazon is charging, for me at least.

Large Clip Good for Plant Support
The large clips are very handy when attaching my plants to a narrow bamboo stake. The small clips are useful only if you have very thin stakes or small-gauge wire cages. It would be great if only large clips were sold separately. The small clips are not really useful for me, not even in my orchid garden, as they protrude from the stake and are not attractive. If anyone has had any luck using the small clips, I'd appreciate your ideas as I have several dozen of them in my shed.

Great product, and easily concealed
I can't believe how useful and camouflaged these are. They blend with my support poles and the dark green leaves. I used 14 of them on my large--I think it's called a cardboard plant--which has some large stems. I've attached a photo. You can barely see the clips (or the support poles, purchased at Home Depot). I used the remaining clips on my rubber tree plant outdoors (I live in AZ so we can grow them outdoors). I will be ordering more of these to use to hold my vines to their supports. Excellent invention.
