Brüder Mannesmann Screw clamp 904-300 Clamping range:300 m
Bought these for the smaller clamping jobs and they do clamp tight. I have the longer screw type and these are just the same.I also have the trigger type that go so far and then stop, never tight enough for me, very spongy.When you slide them to the work they do stay there even vertical, so you can work them one handed. I wasn't expecting too much for the price but I was pleasently surprised. I like clamps with a screw thread and the file type handles for glued joints as you know they are not going to creep open after a while.A couple of small cons, one of the dome shaped metal end caps on the end of the handle had come unstuck but a bit of araldite soon fixed that, the other was that two of the plastic slide on protection caps were missing but on sensitive work I always use a wooden spacer and unless you glue them on they are always sliding off anyway.Overall they are a good solid clamp for such a low price.
