Excellent Product
My 2007 Honda Accord V6 -Manual Shift, kept overheating due to several thermostats; I added this one and it stopped the overheating problem immediately. This thermostat allows coolant into the engine faster than a normal thermostat.

2011 Acura TSX V6 with Ktuner
As an owner of the 2011 Acura TSX V6 and a user of this product, I am very satisfied with my results. I am using Ktuner for my tuning software, coupled with the Mishimoto Race Ready Radiator. I switched the rubber gasket from the OE thermostat to the new Mishimoto thermostat (There is a nipple and two triangle pieces on the OE, not on the Mishi), fit perfectly, runs exceptionally well. I had a P0128 code and then cleared the code out of my ECU using Ktuner. After a couple starts and stops, the code stayed cleared and left me alone. Ran on a mountain rally this weekend with exceptional results. I am very pleased with my purchase.Update: Thermostat failing to open until 235F after approximately 3 weeks of use. Multiple ktuner tests confirm this issue. I will have to remove this product. Bummer. It was great while it lasted.

The car didn’t like it
Engine wouldn’t get hot enough under most condition outside of aggressive driving so it would eventually throw a CEL. Put a OE replacement in.

Durable gasket and quality design, Mishimoto after all.
Seemed durable and made of high quality. Fit my 01 prelude but was slightly smaller than the OEM gasket. Came quicker than you can say “bob’s your uncle.” Just waiting for it to blow up my car like some of these reviews on here say, hopefully doesn’t happen!

Failed after 2 months
After running my car at the drag strip on a 55-60* night, I noticed my car was running hot. Next day checked the reservoir to find a wet paper looking substance. After pulling the tank and straining it I was still lost at what it could be. Decided to check the tstat and low and behold. Looks like the seal broke and the wax started to push out. Not very impressed by this product at all. Would give a 0 stars if it was possible. That's ridiculous and I thought I was lucky I had gotten a good one for the first month or two.

Quality and fitment
Great fitment and quality build. There were no leaks even under boost.

Improves Cooling Significantly
For my AP1 S2000 racecar, I have a Mishimoto 3-row radiator and the Mishimoto racing thermostat, and I use only distilled water. The thermostat made a huge cooling difference at high RPM ranges for sprint and endurance races. Given its cooling capability, upgrading the radiator fan switch is overkill, and I didn't notice a difference between running thermostat-only vs. thermostat+switch.

Three Stars
Seems to be working but the gasket leaked, had to install the old oem one....Update, stopped opening and overheated my engine while driving which caused permanant engine damage and I had to rebuild my engine. Thermostat opens manually but when i tried it in boiling water it wouldnt open on its own.. tested the new one and it opened right up. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!
