I was very skeptical that food would cook, be crispy, and taste good all in a matter of minutes. Well, it's really true. We saw a TV news segment about how popular these fryers have become, so we wanted to give it a try for ourselves. Our first project was to make sweet potato fries with a great big sweet potato. We didn't want to wait 30 minutes to soak the cut potatoes, so we put them in a bowl and used olive oil spray to lightly coat them. We tossed them in the basket and turned it on. Only 14 minutes later (after shaking the basket (horizontally) after the first 7 minutes, we had perfect crispy fries. Wow! That was impressive. The machine stops when you open the basket to check the status of the food, so there's no worry of becoming crispy yourself by opening the basket. It's hard to believe that it works so well and so easily, so I know it will get a lot of use. What fun to rediscover enjoying foods we avoided because of all the fat. I highly recommend this unit. It does have a big footprint, so be sure to check out the measurements so you know you'll have a place to store it when not in use. It isn't extremely heavy, so it can be moved around.

I have MS/Multiple Sclerosis and am blind in one eye with a Cataract forming on my other eye making my vision extremely bad. I’m unable to clearly see the timers, clocks, etc that are back lit..even my furnace thermostat is barely readable so I knew I needed a simple Air Fryer with only a dial for the timer and a button to turn it on. At almost 72 I didn’t want to spend much.. Only God knows how long I’ll be here to use is, right?This Air Fryer is perfect for me and it holds enough food for 2-3 people. I already owned a few Dash brand small appliances and you can’t beat their prices. Admittedly I did purchase the extra warranty “just in case”.I’m eating healthier and recommend it to anyone especially if you’re vision impaired. Loving the pop of red thru out my Kitchen!

No oil needed. I was amazed at this air fryer. Easy use, easy clean up, and best tasting food cooked quickly. Husband says it’s my wisest purchase.

Bought this fryer for my husband for Father's Day. We love it! Last year we purchased a rotisserie as a healthier method to cook that would still be tasty. And it was great...but the clean-up is horrendous and the uses were pretty limited. This air fryer provided the same healthy cooking option but its uses are so far limitless. We've done fresh chicken breasts to frozen cordon bleu, frozen shrimp to fresh cod, and the gambit of fresh veggies to my husband's favorite - tator tots. The result has been incredible. Both fresh chicken and fish is golden crispy on the outside while maintaining juicy goodness inside. Even the delicate cod was suitable for the fryer. The cook time is only slightly less than the oven but the ability to move the fryer outside allows me to cook without heating up the kitchen. A bonus during the summer. We have used it almost every day for the last two months and have yet to find anything it cannot do. Super satisfied and highly recommend this product. Clean-up is a breeze. I lightly spray the inner basket with Pam spray and all it needs is a wipe of a sponge and hot soapy water. I clean after every use to avoid flavor transfer.

I gave this a 4 star because there isn't a way to tell how much time is left without going over to it and looking at where the arrow on the time dial is located. That makes it a bit difficult when you are working across the kitchen from it and have to stop and check it. Also, the temperature doesn't seem to actually reach the 400 it shows.I cooked a mixed vegie dinner in it and it took nearly an hour where my older one was about 45 minutes max. The machine didn't get hot on the outside which is good but the pans do not slide into the fryer easily. They hang and I had to really work them around to get them back in after stopping to stir the food.But for the money, it is a good deal and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find another basket in basket which I really prefer over the turbo single baskets and the ones with the racks.So, if you are looking for a good air fryer, this one will serve you well.

I've heard about the craze that is the air fryer and I wanted to try it out for myself. I bought this not knowing how big it would be but it ended up working out. FYI, if you're looking to buy a smaller fryer, I would recommend looking at the smaller sizes and comparisons on this page below. If I would have known I would have bought a smaller one BUT, I still completely love this regardless.The air fryer ended up fitting perfectly in the kitchen and replaced the toaster oven I used to have for over 6 years. I decided it was time for an upgrade and a big girl purchase. I tried fries first. HOLY MOLEY. It changes the fry game for sure. I also made corn on the cob and my roommate loved it. I'm vegetarian but my roommates are meat eaters so I anticipate they'll be using it for wings while I'll be using it for fries, tofu, and cauliflower wings. This purchase was much needed and so far has been working amazingly. it's so versatile and easy to use, the instruction manual does a great job of going into detail on how to clean and manage the fryer.

I have bought this air fryer twice. Unfortunately I dropped the first one and it was ruined. Up until then it was still going strong after 3 years. This air fryer has a larger basket and is great for air frying your favorite frozen snacks--chicken nuggets, tater tots, french fries etc. It is also great for healthy fare like mushrooms and brussell sprouts. It is good quality and has stood the test of time. I use it at least once a week.
