Light Weight Helmet/Comfortable
Excellent helmet for riding our e-Bike. Great visibility with the safety light on the back of the helmet. Easily adjust the headband with one hand on the dial.

Well made, light weight bike helmet with multi-function light on the back
This is a very nice bike helmet that fits my adult head well. The plastic cover that is on the hard foam is adheared very well & smooth. The edges blend into the foam very well where you can't really feel where 1 starts and the other ends. I have has several others where there is a gap and the plastic shell eventually comes off. I don't think I am going to have the problem with these helmets. The rear light is not very visible in full sun but when it starts to get darker or for early morning or night riding this is visible & helps you be seen better. There are several patterns you can choose & the extra battery is a nice touch.

Comfortable, Easy to Adjust, and Looks Great
I am very happy with this helmet. Here are some of the positives and negatives from my experience.Positives:*Looks nice*Fits very comfortably. With the mesh lining, it doesn't feel overly hot. It also feels very light weight.*Easy to adjust. I had to play around a little with the sides, but I eventually figured it out and was able to get a great fit. The nob on the back made it easy to get a tight fit around my head.Negatives:*A little tricky to figure out how to adjust around the ears. The instructions were not clear enough for me, so while I eventually figured it out, I was a little lost at first.*When unboxing the helmet, the light fell out and popped open. I put it back in and it is now secure, but I have to push pretty hard to turn it on. I don't know if something happened during shipping to dislodge the light or if it wasn't installed properly.*Because I have a rather small head, the helmet alters how my glasses fit. It's a tight balance between having the helmet far enough over my forehead but not obstruct the positioning of my glasses. It isn't a huge issue, but something to be aware of, especially if you have a small head and wear glasses.Overall, I am not great about wearing a bike helmet, but I look forward to wearing this one regularly. It looks nice and fits comfortably, so I look forward to continuing to ride safely.

Great helmet for good price
The fit is great, it’s light weight, enough air can get through so your head isn’t too sweaty on hot sunny Texas days.

I loved it! Excellent design and features! Definitely worth for the price
I first thought the box came empty! It’s how light it is!I loved this helmet and can’t wait to use it! First of all, the design is awesome. It seems very aerodynamic and visually appealing. The quality of the styrofoam, outer plastic and straps are great. Inside is covered with cushion. The chin strap has a also a cushion which I actually didn’t expect but loved it. It fit perfectly to my adult head and can be easily adjusted from the back. The back of the helmet has a battery operated caution light. The light has three settings; solid, fast flushing and slow flushing. I liked the detachable sun visor. It makes the helmet look more beautiful. Adjusting the size and the straps was very easy. I also liked that it came with a spare battery and a carrying bag. I definitely recommend this helmet. I have no cons for this helmet. It’s a great helmet at this price range.

Affordable, attractive, functional...but too low end for me
There are many thing to like about this helmet. I will state what those are, but my current plan is to order another higher end helmet, as this one is too basic (dare I say chintzy?) for me.I'm a road biker, and have worn out my higher end Specialized brand helmet. Also, due to a weight loss, the Specialized size Large helmet became too big for me.Some of the specific features I wanted are: high visibility green color; visor; comfortable interior netting/padding; and good adjustment controls to ensure a snug fit.I normally would have purchased one of the well known brands like Giro/Bell/Specialized, and was willing to pay the usual $100 for a higher end helmet. However, it was hard to find any of the higher end brands/models that have all the features I was looking for. In particular, most did not have a visor and/or come in high visibility green. Then I came across this Shinmax helmet, which not only seemed to have all the features I wanted, but also came at the bargain price of about $30. So, I took a flyer and ordered one in size Medium. Here are the features, besides the low price, that I like about this helmet:- Attractive vent pattern and color- Chin strap is padded- Integrated tail light, including an extra battery- Interior netting insect barrier--I will preface my list of what I didn't like by saying that many of these issues are probably nitpicking for the casual bike rider.- The cloth netting inside the helmet is very thin, and does not cushion your head well.- The visor is a shrunken, cost-reduced version of a standard visor (like the one on my Specialized helmet). The attach points are low quality and the visor kept popping off the helmet. The side blades are thin/narrow, causing the mirror I attach to the visor to easily dislodge.- Even though I went down one size from my Specialized, the Shinmax helmet still slipped a bit back and forth on my head. This wouldn't be a deal killer, except that the tightening mechanism didn't have much cinching ability. Thus, I couldn't get a snug fit. This isn't really a defect, as perhaps I should have ordered two sizes smaller. But having minimal adjustability - plus they don't include any additional stick-on foam pads - made it so that there is very little tolerance on fit.--So here's what I am going to do. I am going to give this helmet to my daughter, who rides once in a blue moon. This helmet will be perfectly fine for a casual rider like her. For me, I'm going to spend some additional dollars on something better.
