Greek Mountain Tea

Since I lived in Crete, I have loved this tea. When I came back to the USA I found places where I could get the entire dried stem flower and leaves, just like I was used to in Crete. I do as most or many do in Crete, I put in a single shake of oregano and another of marjoram while it is steeping for 15 minutes. I use a coffee press that makes 5 cups, and pop on a tea cozy. When the tea is steeped, I add a little lemon juice and a little honey and sit in the quiet for a few minutes to enjoy the first sensations of the amazing flavor. This Greek Mountain tea helps me sleep at night, and keeps me going during the day. Its perfect character is a pleasant memory of a wonderful part of my life as well, truly a superior product.

Didn’t know what to expect, but had listened to a comment on a Greek cooking show about this being a regular drink amongst Greeks, with reference to a healthy Mediterranean lifestyle.Flavor is mild and reminds me of combination of sage and chamomile. Very refreshing chilled with some sweetener of your choice. Especially on a hot summer afternoon.

I took this tea with me on a camping trip to watch the eclipse, and it was the best way to wake up that early morning. The taste, I could only describe as like chamomile with mint and a hit of sage. It's very floral which I adore! Went well with light wildflower honey. Best of all, three stems yielded at least three cups for me, so a little goes a long way, and that's wonderful, since I may be using this tea throughout the colder months. I'll be sure to order more if I run out.

The aroma of this tea reminds me of growing up in Greece. This is such a lovely and wonderful tea. It has a sweet and floral taste, no need for honey. I drink this tea daily, and it has helped dissipate the inflammation I have been dealing with after recent surgery. Studies have shown that Greek Mountain Tea may contain more antioxidants than green tea. I always feel stronger and healthier after a cup of this wonderful tea. The quality of this particular tea is wonderful, and I love that it ships quickly with prime.

This tea is AMAZING. This mountain tea has been shown to provide many, many health benefits, and is consumed by the longest living people on Earth. I read tons of articles and reviews on it, all supporting that data and began drinking 2 cups a day. Fantastic taste, double brewing potential with just one handful, and I can feel the skin/health benefits already. Highly recommend.

Nice, calming tea. Flavors are not too strong. I actually preferred drinking it without any sugar or sweetner. To me the aroma of the dry tea almost smelled like a dill pickle. But the flavor did not reflect that.

It's so nice and relaxing. My daughter loved it so much she ordered some for herself! It's a very high quality tea!

I like having this Greek tea on hand and usually only found it at Greek festivals. It’s great to buy it online! The price is good. This tea is great if you feel a cold coming on, just brew up a little!
