GE WR17X4312 Genuine OEM Ice Bucket Assembly (White) for GE Side-by-Side Refrigerators

Ice maker had been acting up for some while. Finally broke so had to find the replacement part. Finding the part number was the hardest part of the whole task. Nowhere in the manual or in the refrigerator was there a part number listed and there were a ton of them that all looked similar. This was it , however. So a couple of screws later, out and then back in and we were ready to do.And it does a much better job, of breaking the cubes up (haven't had a single jam since installation).Note though, this is just the part that delivers the cubes, not the part that makes them!

Works perfectly and so thankful we were able to replace an old GE Monogram ice bucket that had rusted. Thanks for offering the ice bucket assembly completely assembled and ready to use! Very easy to install and crushes ice perfectly!

This would have been the 3rd replacement ice maker we have used in this fridge to replace the original. It's like 20+ years old so I talked my honey into a brand new fridge. That's the only reason it was returned.

Perfect non rusted replacement for the original ice bucket assembly. Unscrew cover from old unit and attach to this unit and it was inserted and working within 10 minutes.

Our old ice bucket had developed some time of rust which spilled over to the ice and made it unusable.This replacement was perfect. Easy to install and works perfectly.

After 18 years, my ice maker gave up. After replacing the water valve, I noticed the ice bucket needed replacing also. This unit fit perfectly and was priced much lower than getting it from a parts supply store. With Prime shipping, it was here in two days. Changing out three gave plate was a breeze (took about two minutes). I am very glad I made the change!
