works fine
great gun pretty powerful. had to sight the scope to improve accuracy but the iron sights were pretty good out of the box i didn't like that the safety turned on between every shot, but it is what it is. would recommend.

Pretty good toy for my son
Decent toy for my son. Except the scope is garbage. 177 pellet is pretty powerful.

Good if you use the right pellets and replace the scope
I watched some YouTube reviews of this gun that were very positive, however, when I received it I was very disappointed at first in the accuracy of the gun. Almost every review you read says to throw the scope in the trash right away, which I did. The gun was so far off it exceeded the adjustments of the scope. I was happy just using the iron sites. After using them with WalMart Crossman pellets I wanted to throw the iron sites away too. At 15 yards the gun was spitting pellets 2 feet off target. I learned that for this gun to be accurate it needs to have the right pellets and a third party scope. Now it is spot on and plenty of power for my uses. Easily blows through a soup can and the pellet still penetrates halfway through the board behind it. I had to buy three accessories to bring this gun up to par. For the scope I bought the Pinty 3-9X40 Red Green Rangefinder Illuminated Optical Sniper Rifle Telescopic Scope ($30) and the Lirisy 1" Dovetail Scope Mount Rings Medium Profile for 11mm Dovetail Rails ($11) and the JSB Diabolo EXACT .177 Caliber Air Gun Pellets ($17.50). So, in summary, you need to add $41 dollars to the price and expect to use expensive pellets. BBs are ok with the new scope but not as accurate as the pellets listed above.

Scope screw not as strong
It's really good quality material for the actual gun but the scope it a little cheap metal and the screw ain't that strong so it don't hold the scope where it needs to be. Other than the scope it shoots pretty accurate.

Backyard laser
People can dislike a fiber optic post all day long if they want but I find this thing puts pellets exactly where you ask it to every time.Running at only 2 pumps of 10 it'll throw a pellet across a midsize yard wherever you ask it to. It's lightweight and the pump action is easy. I haven't run it with bb's because I find them innately inaccurate and more dangerous than a deforming lead pellet. BB's tend to ricochet much more. I would love to see some kind of magazine put on a pump-up like this suitable for pellets, but my Gamo Swarm will have to continue to fill that niche. The scope it comes with isn't worth having however. The eye piece is tiny, the sight picture is dreadful, there's no focus knobs to speak of, and the iron sights work great on their own anyway. The 11mm rail is great however, and I have intentions to mount a reflex sight on the top just for giggles.

Use to practice with paper only.
Very flimsy, scope is not accurate , bullet is very bad.Overpriced. We were hoping to be able to discourage hawks from attacking our chickens. Not going to happen.

Pretty accurate right out of the box
Nothing wrong with this gun given the more than reasonable price.
