San Jamar Saf-T-Grip Plastic Cutting Board with Safety Hook, 12" x 18" x 0.5", Purple

This board is relatively dense and heavy, but that helps keep it from slipping around (along with the rubber on the corners) and it didn't seem to do any damage whatsoever to my knives. It's a nice size and shape, and I like the color to boot! The rubber feet are a little hard to dry, since they have some crevices that like to trap water, but it doesn't really matter because that's not the surface you cut on.

Very solidly made, unlikely to warp, and the nonslip corners keep this cutting board safely in place. It's fairly heavy compared to other boards I've purchased, and the width doesn't let it slide into slots in my dish drainer, but that's the compromise you make for such a sturdy item. I don't personally feel the need for the embossed measuring characters and lines, but they don't impair the use of the board or the ease of sliding food off it.

We use this cutting board for cutting food, homemade soap slabs, melons etc. It has protective rubber ends on it to allow you to put it right down on just about any surface and not have to worry about it sliding or scratching. When cutting with sharp blades and big items like melons that is a huge plus. Absolutely love it and it is sharp looking to.

It is perfect for my needs, easy to handle, easy to store and really does not slip on the counter

No better cutting board out there.

This is a really nice and thick cutting board that doesn’t slip and has a lot of workspace. Also the size markings are a nice touch and the curly finger grab at the end is very practical. However, that solid thickness which makes it so nice to cut on also makes it on the heavy side. If you’re keeping it on the counter it’s great. If you like to pick it up and sweep your Ingredients into the pot it may be a little uncomfortably heavy for you.

I bought the 18"x12" and the 9"x12" cutting boards because I liked the purple color. They both seem similar to an Architec brand board I bought before that really held up well. I already do see cut marks on these but that's to be expected. My main complaint for the 18"x12" board are the embossed words/symbols along the top of the board (both sides) indicating items such as nuts, seafood, egg, dairy and wheat should not be cut on the board since it's an allergen safe board. I wouldn't have purchased this color board if I knew this to begin with..
