Nice solid lock. Great not having to carry a house key when going for a walk. Minor thing with the instructions, they were not clear on how install the wire support on the keypad side. (Go watch the Schlage install video online) Overall the install was quick and easy.

We purchased this to replace one that was almost identical, so it isn't fair for me to critique the ease of installation, but it was really easy. It looks great and it works great.

Installed several of these on our outside doors and we all love them. No more keys! BUT don't lose the instruction sheet! Resetting numbers is not intuitive and a bit complicated.

It works well and was easy to program. The directions were a little unclear because they were for multiple models- accidentally used the wrong screws and put extra holes in my door that weren't necessary. Be patient when programming, you need to wait for the light. If you go too fast, it won't work. Overall, I'm pleased for the price point.

We bought this for my parents house. Unfortunately we’ve had to call 911 several times. My nephew who is a firefighter suggested that we get this door lock, with the keypad. And what we did is we set the code and then we called the fire department and gave them the code, that way if for some reason, my parents, if Something Happens cannot get to the door to let The firemen in, then they have the code to get in the house. I would suggest this to anyone for any reason.

These are great locks.. But sadly we were in a need and had to put this on our door.. Product was scratched before coming out of the box...

I guess it does the job. I have 3 keyless locks like this. This was the most expensive and trickiest to instal and program as well as the most cumbersome to use.Heres what i dont like about it:1) Its more expensive than most others2) It only comes with 1 key. Like really? Now i have to go somewhere and cut another one or get a locksmith if i loose or break it. Like my time is worthless to the manufacturer.3) it didnt come with batteries4) it doesnt come with a gasket5) its not a 1 touch button to lock like all my other ones. You hit lock, then you have to manually engauge the deadbolt or its not locked.(my kids will think its locked because it sounds like its locking, but its not actually locking).6) the part about aligning the cam wasnt really clear to me, so i had to "redo" the instal to get it to work.7) it only let me pick a 4 digit unlock code. Even the factory one was more than 4 numbers.Otherwise i guess its okay. Personally, if i knew all this, i would have bought a different lock.
