I've always liked Schlage for security hardware and these sets don't disappoint. They fit easily in our existing door holes, sturdy and smooth mechanisms. We like the appearance. We had them installed with a front door handle and deadbolt and are very pleased. Amazon offered one of the best prices compared to big box stores and we received it quickly

Schlage is my favorite brand of door hardware. In my younger years as a Carpenter, I would work on Condos in the bay area, and all I did for 1 year was hang interior and exterior doors in the units we were remodeling. This is with trim and door hardware. Maybe hard to believe (even for me to think I did this many) but I have hung over 1000 doors with all everything included. You get pretty good at something with repetition. Schlage was the prefered lockset and passage hardware. Very quick and easy to install. No granted, I was do this for my job 40 hours a week, but my crew would race to see how many properly hung doors we could install a day without any mistakes. Now as far as door knobs were concerned, we got down to 4 minutes for an install, and schlage always worked better than any other brand. Plus... a little secret... you can get a copy of a key for a schlage, on a Baldwin key blank, which is a wider key and has more torque than a schlage key. A nice little extra for you client, or for yourself.

This set is sturdy and well made. Installation was a breeze and the keys fit the locks.

Only dislike is doorknob key points are upside down for right opening use door knob. I reversed it but not easy

Excellent lock! I locked myself out of my house and had to pay $150 to get a locksmith to try and pick it. When he came out he saw it was a shlage and told me he'll probably have to drill it out, they're very hard to pick. Well, that's what happened. He attempted to pick it for 30 minutes and couldn't get in. He eventually had to drill it out, even that wasn't easy for him. 5 stars for the lock, 1 star for my procrastination. Buy the lock, then go and get spare keys made so you don't make my mistake!

If you look up rating for deadbolts, this model comes highly rated. I can honestly tell you that compared to the cheap Kwikset and Ace brand model, this model is much stronger. The included hardware (screws, plates, etc.) are much more robust and designed to take much greater force. I like the look and the feel is very solid.

I ordered three of these locks for my home to replace the ones from the previous owner. I ordered all three at once and they all came with two keys each that work for all three which makes it convenient to only need one key for all doors. This set will not leave you locked out of your house. If you lock the handle from the inside and turn the inside knob, it will unlock the door. Some reviewers mentioned that previous sets would keep the door locked when turning the inside handle, making it easy to lock yourself out, you won't need to worry with this.I have never installed deadbolts or door locks before. The instructions included were sufficient enough to get me through the installation without any issues. I liked that heavy-duty strike-plates with long screws are included for the deadbolt. It makes the deadbolt very secure.I cannot find anything wrong with these locks and I'd recommend getting them for your home if you're in the market for new door hardware.

I purchased 2 of these for my home. The first one is excellent, obviously top quality and worth every penny. The second one, came with the packages obviously opened, with contents I strongly suspect were switched out. It looks like someone must have purchased the item, switched out the item for a cheap lock, threw the cover on and stuffed it into the box, which was then sent to me. The items placed in the packaging were not even placed within their slots but rather just freely moving about the package. Simply incredible.

Deadbolt works fine.Handle lock does not. Appears to be crooked or misaligned. Could not get key into it, nevermind turn to lock or unlock.Requested refund.
