Macadamia Oil Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment 4.2 Ounces

I recommend this oil for those who want beautiful shine and healthy looking hair. I use it on my wet hair before blow drying. A little goes a long way and the smell is awesome, not overwhelming. I also use it on my hands for moisture and softness. Great product.

I adore the Macadamia Natural Oil line, but this hair oil my hair just drinks up. I have bought two replacements from Amazon, with two slightly different results, which I had to share.The first bottle was strange - there was a sticker placed on the back. When my sibling removed it, we could see it was covering up either Chinese or Japanese characters. This product didn't have much of a smell, but the color was a more yellowy-orange than I had remembered prior.The second bottle I got more recently (last month), and this was completely different. No sticker on the back, the product now had a very obvious (and pleasant IMO) scent and was a clear color.Obviously, the supplier in the first case (ETA: I did go back and the suppliers were different - the first was a different company, and the second was Macadamia Oil themselves) must have gotten the product from a different country and while the ingredients on the sticker were supposedly the same as the ones on the back of the second bottle (because yeah, I compared the first and second bottles), there must be a different ingredient to make the product without a smell and such a different color. I didn't notice a difference in the usage or application, but I had to write this review in case people were curious.The original Macadamia Natural Hair Oil is amazing; I love the smell and I love how soft my hair feels. I would be careful ordering on Amazon, not knowing exactly where they are getting their products and what is actually in them.

I’ve been using this brand since I was 15 years old (I’m 27 now) and it works wonders. When I had to have scene hair and damaged my hair beyobd repair, this was the only product that healed my hair back. It repaired my hair and damaged ends and now I swear by it. It is on the same level as the ‘It’s a 19’ products. (I use this product and it’s a 10 leave in conditioner every single day right after a shower on wet/ damp hair.This size is reallly small and I’m sad that it was so expensive. The bottle is better material- it’s either glass or higher quality plastic- but beware that the pump shoots out a lot of product. For me, I only need about 1/2 to 3/4 of a pump- only go a full pump if you have very long hair!Can’t recommend the product enough but that more sizes are available and that the price can dip down!Extra info: I have average- slightly more fine hair. I have naturally wavy hair that is straight when wet, blow dries straight and staticky, and dries naturally very wavy and frizzy. My hair is medium length. I am in the process of cutting off split ends and this seals my more dry and frizzy spots making my hair look very healthy and cohesive!

I can never go back to using any other oil products for my hair. This works wonders. I've bought it three times already for the past three years and I still remember the first time I used this. I got a sample pack from the new beauty test tube monthly subscription. I didn't think anything of it at first and I only used it the first time because I didn't have any other hair product to moisturizer my dry hair. So I opened this up, used it, and have been a fan since then.I don't use the hair dryer that often. I usually just towel dry my hair, apply a small amount of the oil through, and combed it in. It dries my hair fast and keeps my hair from becoming frizzy. My hair is naturally straight but tends to dry and get all matted because it's long. It does do that when I use the oil. It also works great when you blow dry your hair after applying this.My favorite products from the macadamia oil line is this healing oil and the hair repair mask. They work wonders. Not too fond of the shampoo and conditioner. They were blech.

I've been using this product for about 2 yrs now, but previously bought it at the salon I go to - for over $40 a bottle. I saw that there were mixed reviews, some claiming that this item is not the real deal...I found that the product I received is definitely the real deal. My order came from amazon seller Quick E Deal.It's the right color, the right smell, the right consistency and effect. So if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, smells like a duck...As far as the effects of this oil - it's the only thing I've ever found that really nourishes and tames my porous, naturally curly hair. I don't usually blow my hair dry but when I need to, this seems to protect it from the heat and warm air.And if you're still hesitant to try it, you could go with the very small bottle, which still last quite a while. I did this first time and saved the bottle afterwards to fill for travelling!

My hair was so damaged from not enough heat protection to color to lots of breakage. I found out that macadamia oil is one of the very best for hair. I have been using the Amika overnight hydration and it has really helped, but add this oil to it, and OMG! My hair soaks it up overnight and the next day it looks soft and sleek and holds a curl SO much better. I don't think my hair has ever felt this good! So shiny too. But the smell is incredible! You would think the two together would make hair greasy or lanky the nest day, but it is wonderfully soft clean and shiny. I will ALWAYS have this stuff in my hair from now on.
