Excellent value for the money. A good cuttler/slicer
The description is incorrect. The blade is not stiff. There is some flexibility to it. It did not come with a very sharp cutting edge. Serveral swipes on Spyderco triangle sharpener, honing steel and leather strop brought out the sharpness. The heal of the blade is rounded and not sharpened. This knife is light weight. Three stars because the blade has flexibility and not stiff as advertised and because there are some minor machine marks. Still, this knife is a good value for the money.Update: After using this knife for a month, I've upgraded to 4 stars and have forgiven the minor machine marks and its flexibility. After sharpening it the knife has remained sharp with very little maintenance. A few swipes on the honing steel and leather strop brings the edge back to life. This is a good cutter/slicer.Update 2022: If you are not a knife steel snob or knife junkie, this is a great knife. It's a mystery stainless steel. It maintains a sharp edge. Takes to honing and sharpening. This knife will handle almost any of your cutting/slicing chore. Upgraded to 5 stars.

Razor blade with a handle.
Soft metal that takes a very keen edge. Mine came with a little bit of a beak on the tip that came out with the first sharpen. It holds an edge mildly well for the kind of steel it is. This is much better quality than the wooden handled kiwi knives. And it's still really affordable.Best bang for your dollar if you want a cheap general purpose knife for work.Yes it's cheap. Yes it's soft. But at this price nothing compares.

A little thin stamped blade that will work
Nice cheap knife with good edge, blade is super thin. My roomier rolled the tip doing something, who knows, but I was able to straighten it with a pair of pliers. Very serviceable, very sharp, good value, too thin.

Very Practical Knife
Just got this chef knife a week and have used a few times and I love it so far! It is sharp and it handles well and just the right size for 80% of my cuttings. The price is right and Hope it will last for a while.

Excellent knife for the price
Remarkably sharp, hollow ground, easy to hone & wash, and the price means that I can use this as my "workhorse" for a year or two, then replace it at a fraction of the cost of my other knives. This is a knife for using, not for impressing other people, and it works admirably for vegetable chopping.UPDATE: Put a new edge on it, working like a charm. Bought a second one just to have as a backup - this is an ideal every-day vegetable chopper.

Not a great knife
Poor quality knife, and packaging insufficient to prevent damage during shipping.

Best knife ever
Super sharp. Great handle. Great balance. This Kiwi knife is my go to knife. Chopping, slicing, mincing. It will do it all with ease. Easy to maintain the razor sharp blade with a sharpening steel. It is so inexpensive that I keep an extra in case anything happens to my favorite knife. The only concern is you have to be mindful of the razor sharp blade when washing the shiny blade. My knife is 2 years old and looks new as the day I unwrapped it.
