The people complaining about FaceID not working need to learn how to read. Because the FaceID camera is coded specifically to the iPhone, simply swapping out the part will not enable FaceID. It has to be replaced by Apple and Apple alone. The sole purpose of this replacement part is to restore the earpiece function with the FaceID camera as a space filling object.

False advertising! Face ID listed in title as if it is supported, Face ID does NOT work.
Although it is mentioned in the listing that Face ID won't work, the title includes Face ID as if it is supported. Very deceptive. Face ID is programmed to the speaker/IR/proximity module from the factory and cannot be reprogrammed except by Apple.Don't buy this if you expect Face ID to work, if you don't mind losing Face ID then it will work fine.
