My doctor told me about this brand and it is so much easier to be compliant since it can be taken with or without food and is non- constipating!

I recently saw a sleep doctor and one of the issues I brought up was Restless Leg Syndrome. He ordered an iron test, and sure enough, my iron was low. He suggested I begin taking Iron Gluconate. After spending a lengthy amount of time on Amazon looking over all my alternatives, I selected this time. For one thing, I like that it is a pretty easy to swallow tablet, because I gag on those clear capsules. I used to have a problem with iron making me nauseous. This does not. Even though my doctor said it might take a few months for it to begin working, I have not had any problems with my legs since I began taking them just a week ago. It may just be a coincidence, who knows. This supplement will also help me with iron because I donate blood every two months.

After enduring 18 weekly doses of chemotherapy for ovarian cancer, where my iron and blood were very depleted I found this product has and is still helping gain my strength and energy. I'm hoping to be able to wean down and only need it once a day. For now, I take one tablet with my 2 meals each day. It is not constipating as some iron supplements can be. I highly suggest using this if you have anemia related to chemotherapy that depletes your red blood cells. It kept my blood values good enough so I didn't have to stop any chemotherapy sessions.

I donate blood regularly, but have been anemic on and off for years. Along with an intentional diet, I've taken iron pills for years, but finally switched to see if something would be easier on me physically.I used to use the Costco iron pills, but those were hard on my body. (TMI: made me hustle to the bathroom like Montezuma's revenge, oof. And, the pills *stank*- not pleasant.)I did not want to have to take iron twice a day, and this was a great one-a-day option.I spent a while looking into which type of iron is more bioavailable, and made this choice.These smell like maple syrup and aren't nearly so harsh. Been taking these a month-ish, so far so good! **for pregnant folks that need iron, I recommend asking your doctor about these since they actually smell good!Knocked off a star for Red 40/food dyes.

Pill size was good and did not bother my stomach eat all. I take 3 a day and will know in a couple of weeks how my blood work comes out. Update I got my blood work back and my dr was happy. Great product

They don’t upset my stomach and I pay less now for my iron supplements.

I love these iron supplements, in the more useful/absorbable Gluconate form. The price is really good. For $10/12, the containers last for such a long time... just take 1 small green pill every day! My wife had been having iron deficiency, though she had been having multivitamins (with iron) regularly. Ever since she started on Mason's Ferrous Gluconate (past 2,5-3 months), her iron count has improved! My whole family is taking these supplements regularly now. Even those who do not have iron deficiency, can take it regularly - If not daily, at least once in 2 days. This seems to be good quality iron supplement, at a great price.

Easy to swallow without that strong iron taste.
