It's miles above Brita, I could CRY comparing the two...
DO NOT buy the Brita faucet filter, it's trash compared to the Pur and I can safely say this because I've used both. Brita faucet filters are composed of 20% cheap junk, 80% riding/trading on their brand name household recognition for sales.💧 The water tastes better with Pur than Brita.💧 The Pur is slightly larger and feels of a higher quality in construction, the plastic feels better to the touch, and the gray color is much better and professional looking for a sink than bright white because it matches the color of sinks and faucets, which are usually gray due to stainless steel or nickel finishes. The Brita feels cheap and flimsy, food stains and discoloration are also much more apparent on the bright white plastic of the Brita faucet filter.💧 The Pur comes in a sturdy cardboard box sealed with tape, and everything is in plastic packaging or bubble wrap, the filter cartridge is sealed in plastic packaging, and you can tell it's new and untampered. The Brita faucet filter arrives in a thin-gauge cardboard box with no tape or seal of any kind, you could open it, mess with it and put it back in and nobody would know, the filter cartridge it comes with is completely unsealed inside the box, no plastic packaging, hilarious because the cartridges you buy for the Brita pitchers are all individually sealed in a white plastic package.💧 The lever to switch to the filtered flow is extremely easy to activate because it rotates down like a lever, you could do it with one pinky with virtually no effort, even a cat could turn it on. The Brita filter uses a tab that you have to twist with your thumb and index finger, it requires two fingers and much more effort, if there's oil on it from cooking it becomes more difficult. This is important for people with poor hand dexterity such as the elderly or arthritic. I think about my grandmother in her 80s, and her hand dexterity is so poor that we have to open bottles for her, there's no way she could use the Brita.💧 The aerator for the unfiltered flow is much better with the Pur because it's full speed, the Brita cuts the flow down significantly.💧 The filtered flow is much better as well, Brita's filtered flow is like a laser beam, it's thin and with such high pressure that when it hits the floor of the sink it splashes out of the sink, no exaggeration. Forget about putting anything even remotely close to the Brita, the splashback will be all over you. The Pur is a wider gentle flow, making it possible for you to put something right under the flow without the splash damage affecting you.💧 The Pur installation is much simpler, with the Brita you have to screw/thread the faucet filter unit directly onto the faucet, with the Pur you screw/thread one of several included adaptors onto your faucet, this adaptor is not an aerator, it's a hollow ring, the faucet filter unit then clips onto the adaptor. Since the Pur faucet filter can clip on and off easily without having to unscrew/unthread anything, you can easily remove it to clean/wash it when it gets dirty.💧 Because the Pur faucet filter clips on with an adaptor instead of threading directly onto the faucet, you can rotate the Pur if you want to move where the filtered flow is going to land or get it out of the way. You can't do this with the Brita because it's threaded directly on, it has to be immobile or it will loosen from the faucet and start leaking if you rotate it counterclockwise.💧 The Pur filter lifespan is calculated digitally, using an LED that's visible on the front/side of the faucet filter, this makes it easy to see when you're standing in front of the sink. The Brita uses a cheap mechanical gauge that shows a red piece of plastic through a peephole when it's time to replace the filter, this peephole is on the top of the faucet filter, and you have to have your head directly over the Brita to look down through that peephole, if your sink is in a weird place or you're not tall enough this becomes an issue. The Brita gauge also doesn't work correctly, I had two of their faucet filters, one showed green but the filtered flow had completely stopped, and the other showed red but the filtered flow was clear, go figure.💧 The Pur faucet filters last longer than Brita and are cheaper.

Wow. So easy to install. Wow
I'm really impressed with how easy this was to install. It took a minute to have it up and running. The included converters is needed, I tried the metal one first, it screwed on my faucet right away, for a tight seal, then with that connected, the filter snapped right onto it, clicked into place, and done!!! That's it. It's connected. Really took me less than a minute total. And my sink is a very old sink so I was a little worried if it will fit, but it fits perfectly. My sink is very strong flow when opened all the way, so i opened it to max to check for leaks in the connection, not a drop leaked. So I popped in the included filter cartridge, screwed on the cover. And tested it, the flow is of course a lot slower, but that's expected. So I let it run for a few minutes as per the instructions (it says to flush it for 5 minutes) and it's working perfectly now. I switched back and forth from the regular sink flow to the filtered flow, the light blinks green every time, zero leaks, zero issues.I only just received it right now (like minutes ago), so time will tell how it holds up, but I was so impressed with the how easy it was to setup, that I thought I'd share that. Because to be honest, this was my only worry before buying this, I was hoping it will install correctly, which it did, and it was easier and faster than I thought it would beA few weeks later edit;Ok so I was so loving my Filtered water, that I convinced my neighbor, a older man, that drags a few gallons a week from the store, to just get this Faucet filter instead. But I know he'd be stubborn... So I just filed him a clean full plastic cup of fresh cold water from my filter. And asked him to taste it. He drinks down the whole cup and says hmm that's good water, zero after taste, zero chlorine taste, just clean tasting. I then told him it's from my Faucet filter, and told him look, with the money you buy all those gallons for, this will pay for itself in no time, and you won't have to shlep it from the store. He was sold, so I ordered him one from Amazon, same as mine. His sink Faucet is very different type than mine, but installation was exactly the same, and exactly as simple and fast. I had it up and running for him in 2 minutes. And he's loving it.So that's 2 very different type sinks, both very old. But both installed in seconds. And now that I've been using mine for a few weeks now, I gotta say I never knew I could love water as much as I suddenly do. It tastes so clean and amazingly fresh. I'd put it up vs any bought water from the store.

Works Great worth a Great Price 🌺🪻
I actually really love this faucet water filter, it's very easy to apply to your current faucet. And I think it works great, and it has a good price. It took me about 5 to 10 minutes to attach it to my faucet. I had to remove and unscrewed the old screen and tip that was on it, and I applied one of the new ones that comes in the box, they send you two or three additional fittings that will go on your faucet if the one you have does not work. Easy to do

Taste great
Easy instructions for a quick set up... Water tastes great.. only problems is some leaking where the faucet connects to the Pur... It also leaks from the filtered side when the unfiltered side is in use .. not a lot but enough that is noticeable... Outside of that, I'm not mad at the purchase

Nice filter (after 2 months of use review)
Great product. Love it. Build quality is not top notch, however, I don't need top notch quality just for a mere filter. It is easy to use, but instead of sliding piece they could put rotating knob to activate the filter. To be noted, clean the inside of the filter case to occasionally. Water taste is good, clean water.
