An excellent product for the price. I ordered two.

Like with any brand some burners won't like these. Luckily 3 of mine (2 pioneer, 1 liteon) do and my LG does but burns only at 8x. In either case none have been coasters after cracking open my 2nd batch of 100. Only had 1 physically scratched one so didn't use it. Use to swear by verbatim but these are a solid contender as well if you don't mind the occasional slower writes in fussy drives. Rather have a slow and accurate burn then a fast and failed one if the drive seems it needed .

I bought these because they were inexpensive and there were many good reviews. Initially I was burning a lot of coasters but then I realized I was having a software problem. Once that was corrected, everything has worked perfectly. These discs are darn good for the money.

These are great dvd-r. Price is right also!

I copy sermons from Church so I use dvd’s alot, I’m also afraid they will do away with them

We've been recording our favorite TV shows so we can watch them over the weekend, and I've been doing this for at least the past 20 years. These "SmartBuy" brand blank discs are performing better than any name brand I have purchased in the past. Even my mate has mentioned that these appear to deliver a sharper playback image from our recording TV shows. plus I've not had any error issues, no signal loss or recording errors, and so far out of my first 200 I've not found one defect. That beats all the others and I've tried them all, Phillips, Sony, TDK, Verbatim, etc. I plan upon stocking up because they are that good!!, and typically whenever I find something of quality at this low of a price, either the price goes way up or the item disappears off the market. So I'd rather buy a case now.

This is fairly cheap for the amount of discs you get. I have used about half of the first pack and so far there was only about 2 that didn't work (2/50 is not bad) and I think at least 1 was my fault (was jarring the laptop too much while it was recording). The writing speed is about the same as any other brand that I've purchased in the past. The only con, like others have mentioned, is that there is no "container" for the discs. They're just wrapped up in plastic wrapping. But for the quality and price, I would buy this again, if I ever run out of discs (there are a lot)!
