New Hitachi ETB0024 Fuel Injection Throttle Body - Gasket/O-Ring Included

I installed this on a 2007 Silverado 4.8L due to throttle position codes. In the end it worked great and resolved my issue.Keep in mind that this part will require a throttle relearn procedure otherwise you may find that the idle speed will be high and or erratic.There is a procedure to perform the idle relearn without a scan tool, but after many attempts the idle was still erratic and too high (2000 rpm's). A 20 minute road test was another way to try getting the idle to relearn, but that didn't work either.At this point many people would think the part was faulty, it wasn't, I borrowed an expensive Snap On scan tool from a friend and was able to perform the idle relearn procedure within just a few minutes. For some reason I could not get the idle relearn procedure to complete without the scan tool even though there is a procedure to do it.Bottom line, if you don't have a scan tool to relearn the idle after replacement of this part you may have to take it to someone that can do it.

My 07 Suburban (LS 5.3) started getting an engine light with code P2135 set. I tried cleaning the throttle body, and that seemed to work but the code recurred after a few days, and I could tell that the flapper valve was not moving as freely as it should. Bought this unit and swapped it out, and have had no more problems since. Cheap and easy fix with a quality part!

Had reduced power on my 2008 GMC Sierra with a TPS trouble code. Rather than replace the TPS, decided it was more worthwhile to replace the whole throttle body. Item arrived well packaged and in new condition. Took about 20 minutes to install and the truck started right up and haven't had a repeat of the problem. It did idle a little erratic for a few days till the computer relearned the idle perimeters. This is normal. Very pleased with the results.

I bought this for my 2008 avalanche when it idles rough and low (500-400)rpm when at stop lights. Before buying this, I cleaned maf sensor, throttle body and replaced Throttle position sensor but that didn’t help. Bought this almost 2yrs ago and with no issues. Truck has 130K miles when I installed it and it has now 157K + miles. I cleaned it after 15K miles and 25K miles with maf sensor. Happy it’s still doing great and 600rpm at idle... (installed range technology AFM disabling device too)

Work for 1 month had plm with it so I had to go dealer buy it…… now. Stuck with this old one will never order online

Worked like the old one, lined up perfect. Requires a little reprogramming but well worth it. I have a cheap scan tool I use to track my truck's performance and Idle RPMs.. so I got it to right around 600 rpm idle now, after resetting. Works like a charm.

I swapped out my original throttle body with this Hitachi after getting a check engine light. The swap was very easy and no relearn was required. Highly recommend

Great part, did not mention it would fit my truck but it fit perfectly and has fixed the issue I was having. Definitely recommend if needed.
