Love Poems to No One: Romantic Poetry Hardcover – January 31, 2019

This is the first book I have of N.R. Hart and it's quite truly so lovely in every imaginable way. The cover is gorgeous and though we often say to not judge a book by it's cover... this one is different as the cover represents the beauty, heart, passion, imagination, and romance within. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS one and highly recommend it. The poems are meaningful and embody a soulful kind of love that's hard to sometimes --as we can only feel it to know it. But I'd say even if one hasn't felt it it allows one to dream and imagine. The pages and imagery are stunning too and I love it so much.... I just hold it and read it over on occasion. It takes my breath away. But then again, I'm a hopeless romantic so I am swept away by pretty books and all things related to love .... N.R. Hart's Love poems to No One will not disapoint... it's quite amazing in fact and I love the author too. Her energy moves me.

I had come across various postings of N.R. Hart's poetry. Having read some online, it was enough to order this book. For the romantic in you or to say to another, this book is full of soulful heart felt imagery.Yes, the author's work can also be found on Instagram and other sites, but those will never take the place of holding a smooth hardcover volume, turning pages in hand and reading such words to your partner.

This book is bound beautifully and would be a welcome addition to any collection. The poetry inside is as inspired as its binding.

This book opened a whole new world romantic love poetry. Never had I read something so easy to understand, if you have loved or been loved, I recommend this book for you. What I love about her poetry is that you can some of the poems in your soul.

Beautiful! Purchased this and BEAUTY AND HER BEAST from the same author, N.R. Hart. Lovely poems, beautiful covers, and romantic poetry, in a bleak world. We have forgotten closeness and romance in our busy, questioning world. Let go! Enjoy and feel as you read these passionate passages!

There are certain things I love, and others I don't. In the end, I merely liked it, though it inspired me throughout. For certain readers and poets, it's a worthy read.This book had me writing reams of poetry. I appreciate any book that inspires me to try writing what I'm reading. Whenever this happens, I'm learning new things. This book was no exception. I got excellent practice in the secrets of writing the unrequited love poem.Unfortunately, I can't do much to indicate which poems I found enlightening or beautiful because this book lacks organization. There is no useful data -- page numbers, headings, or poem names -- I can use to point you to poems, or anything else for that matter.I love how simple and elegant the language is in Hart's poems. This kind of tone and diction takes time to master, and it's special. Beautiful. Elegant. Potent. Readable. Hart has an unnamed poem towards the end of the "A Spring" section, in which the opening line is two sentences, composed of conversational syntax and diction: "She liked him. She did." This whole poem is an excellent example, if you can find it.Sometimes Hart's lines are smooth and beautiful, and sometimes they are clumsy and difficult to read. This is true for most poets' poetry, to some extent; except a poet should choose their very best poems for their book. The clumsy poems shouldn't make it in. This brings me to point out that Love Poems to No One seems to be merely a collection of Hart's already-published IG or Facebook posts, printed on pages. Printing small, color images in low resolution gray scale, as this book does, never turns out well, and they don't turn out well here either. None of the poems appear to be new; all appear to have been published on Hart's IG or Facebook feeds.If you've never read Hart's work, you'll still have fun with this book, like I did. It's not great, or brilliant, but it is enjoyable. If you like unrequited love poetry, definitely pick this up; it'll tickle you and inspire you to write your own broken heart piece or two!
