Black Gelcoat No Wax Gallon with 60cc Hardener (MEKP)

Let me start by saying I make custom fiberglass automotive parts. I have found that I get far less bubbles in my resin layout due to being able to see the bubbles against the black gelcoat. I make my own molds, so i always order my gelcoat with no wax. It goes down smooth and levels well. I was originally using neutral colored gelcoat and found it more difficult to spot bubbles in my wetout. I have purchased this brand from this seller many times and never had any issues with quality. Its very easy to work with. Best of all, it is readily available at a good price here. It also comes from company years of experience that stands behind their product and not just someone who sells a product they don't know anything about!In the past i have tried many other brands and have been displeased with the results. No more searching around in my local area to buy gelcoat. Nothing is worse than being in a pinch and needing gelcoat, overpaying for it locally and when you open it looks like cottage cheese because it has sat on their shelf so long. The only issue I have had with buying this stuff on Amazon is always keep finding extra stuff to add to my orders.... But admission is the first sign of recovery they said. 😆This is a great product from a great seller! Thank you!

Nice shiny black finish everytime. Great for making parts in molds. I make custom fiberglass Knight Rider car parts and this is the gelcoat I use in all my molds.

It must have been some old stock, it's already gelled in the jug. The orange I bought before this is still going strong. I've bought this black before and it lasted a lot longer than this jug did, month longer.

My final product is black. By using the black gelcoat, if the paint layer gets chipped you don't see the color of the fiberglass.

Works great. Used it to mix with a quart of Vinyl Ester resin to make my own tooling Gel Coat. 128 fl oz to 32 fl oz and it worked great!
