UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Guys, due to illness, I SERIOUSLY neglected my Majesty Palm all summer. I live in the Northeast and on this side of town, Majesty Palms really don't fair well indoors so the first sign of warm weather, I put her outside to get the much needed humidity & warmth she will thrive on. Usually she grows like a weed & becomes quite impressive by early Fall. This summer, she really didn't grow at all and I knew something wasn't right but I was recovering from surgery & couldn't really help her.Funny that in early summer, I noticed black ants on her leaves, I had no idea that meant she had bugs!There was a sticky sap on some of the leaves that the ants loved so I washed that away.Here it is now, late August and I noticed the stems were COVERED in thousands of brown little discs...and under the leaves as well. This poor plant was infested! I researched, found out what they were & tried to find ways to kill them. Online videos would have me cleaning the leaves almost constantly with alcohol, soap & water mixtures.....and that method would never totally irradicate them. I am NOT a big person and there was no way I could bring her in the house in the fall with those bugs. Amazon to the rescue! I watched the video with this product andO-M-G!!! I wish I had taken before pictures because my pictures are from UNDER 24 hours after application! LOOK!! The 1st picture you'll see there are just a few stragglers that will probably die off by tonight. Pics 2 and 3 show there are no longer any of those pesky brown bugs on her!I have repotted her, given her really good palm soil and palm food. Now bugs are irradiated. It should stay warm through late September and then she will be coming back inside. I won't have to worry about her brining the bugs in to infest my other plants, but most importantly, she is healthy!This product does the job & FAST!

I have a large collection of houseplants and use this 2-3 weeks before I bring them inside for the fall. It does an excellent job - no gnats, scale, aphids, fungus, etc. And it's never caused any harm to my plants. There's also no smell or fumes. I sprinkle the granules on top of the soil (I never measure), work it down into the first inch or so, then give the plant a good drink of water. After about a week the plant will be bug free.EXCEPT - in my experience, this product does not prevent or kill spider mites. You still have to be on the lookout for webs, leaf holes, and eggs. Also, I don't know if this product will harm bees, but would never use it on a blooming plant outdoors, just to be safe and keep those essential friends alive and well.I compare this to the drops I put on my dog's fur once a month. It works its way into her skin without causing harm and disease-causing bugs just stay away or bite and die. These granules do the same, and I'm so happy to have it. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Used this to eradicate scale insects on a potted olive tree. Have applied three times about a month apart. Bought more so I can treat it when it’s moved outside when the weather warms.

I had been battling fungus gnats in my house plants. This did the job and continues for months after application.

Although this is a pesticide, this stuff is the only thing that keeps fungus gnats and whiteflies out of my house plants. I also use the yellow sticky bug traps; they help also.This product works well out doors on potted plants when used as a solution.I grow lots of orchids and they seem to be a great breeding ground for the gnats and whiteflies.I have to keep these critters out of my house.5 stars!

Does a decent job for a systemic insecticide; great to have a product that can be used in the house. There is some smell, but it dissipates relatively quickly. Do NOT be surprised to see the bottle about only half full…the product is sold by weight, not by volume. They really should downsize the bottle to the size of the contents; so it seems a little deceptive, just a sales tactic.For mites you’ll still need to use a mitecide.Recommend ‘washing’ when possible in conjunction when using any systemic to help irradiate insects more quickly…

This is the only product I've found that helps to get rid of fungus gnats in my plants without me having to completely repot each plant with new dirt. Highly recommend!

Brought two bottles and both of the bottles looked like they were resealed and each were only 1/2 full. I have used this product for years and love it. In all the years I have used it, I only bought one bottle at a time because it last a long time. Each time the bottle was full. This time I bought the two bottle special and they are only 1/2 full. I feel like someone was trying to double the amount they make at the consumers expense!
