My son has tourette syndrome & unfortunately picks at his skin until it is infected. His therapist had given him a brush similar to this, but he lost it. I was thrilled to find these on Amazon & ordered them in a big pack. They were delivered fast & they work great. He uses them to brush his skin, instead of picking at it & it helps to prevent sores on him. They are the perfect size for his hands. He's a big boy at 11 years old & they work great for him.

Like a previous reviewer, I was surprised to find these on Amazon. My son has sensory issues and I have watched his occupational therapist use similar brushes on him with great effect. He really responds to brushing with these sensory brushes. We use them at night when he goes to bed if he's having a difficult time settling to sleep and it calms him down immediately. We have also given one to his school (he is in kindergarten) and the school psychologist comes and brushes him when the teacher requests it.At just slightly larger than 1 1/2 x 3 inches, they were a bit smaller than I expected, But they do the job. We don't have a handle and they work fine without one.

I bought this for my daughter whom has autism, cerebra palsy, white brain matter damage, and is also completely deaf in her right ear! My daughter is now 9 and her melt downs have gotten a bit worse at home and school, so this purchase has helped us tremendously, the value for my money amazing, and that’s a big thing in my home due to she’s one child of 5 yes we have a big family lol so value is so important, I was able to keep some at home and send some to school as well as for Annalis as some other children in her class enjoyed them too! Just wanna say thank u guys for what your doing has been an amazing experience!

These are exactly what I wanted! I am a nurse and at a hospital that had these scrub brushes in the NICU. I would wash the baby's hair using them. They are surprisingly soft and perfect for this task. The original purpose in the hospital was to add soap and scrub your hands with them. The ones I used in the hospital also had a sponge on the other side but, I didn't need that part to wash & then brush their hair.

We use this with youth that struggle with self-harm. We have about half of the youth that it works for and the other half that it don't. We still feel its a product well worth trying.

We were given one of these at the hospital when my daughter was born for/to prevent cradle cap. She never had cradle cap but we used it to brush her hair because it is do much softer and better than baby hairbrushes. We bought more when it started to lose its bristles after 11 months and now she uses them to brush her hair. These are great for small kida and sensitive scalps.

Served my purposes well. My daughter has severe sensory issues and the cost for treatment tools can be overwhelming. It is nice to be able to buy an tool that is effective and does not break the bank. Can also be used to de-hair corn on the cob or wash vegetables and there is a great spot on the back for labeling so you know what you use them for. Makes a great spot scrubber in the laundry room too.

Seen these in a few different catalogs, but never purchased. This was a quantity pack of brushes, so I have them at different sinks 'round the house. These are soft, so no pain under the fingernails when cleaning out the dirt and grease. The brush is also large; large enough to hold easily and large surface area for adequate cleaning.
