Great GTX Boot
I've been wearing a pair of 12.5Ms for a few days now - so far, so good.First impression:Fitted perfectly on first try-on but that was expected since I own other timberland shoes and I knew which size on their sizechart fits me best.Steady grip on icy and snowy surfaces, comfortable and warm - serve me well walking the city and the park (no real hiking test yet)Waterproof: still to be tested - I will get back to that in a couple of weeks.Overall - great first impression.[ ... to be continued ... ]!!! Important Notice !!!The thing that caught me by surprise was the green color - be alert that the images showing the available colors are wrong (at least 2 of them)the images for [BROWN MEDIUM] AND [Brown with Green] are switched. So, when you select the images for [BROWN MEDIUM] you will be seeing the actual images for [Brown with Green] and vice versaas a result I ended up with completely wrong color shoes :) but I did't complain about it because I actually liked the wrong color as well.

Great boots
Got these at a bargain price to replace a cheap pair of campri boots which lasted all of 2 weeks so I sent them back and bought these. As soon as I got them the quality is just 100% better. I normally wear a size 7 UK so that is what I ordered and the fit is perfect although I do have quite narrow feet so I don't know if you should go up a size if you have a problem with narrow fitting boots. I got these for £38 delivered so I am very happy with them and would recommend them for normal activities like walking the dog I don't know what they would be like for hiking as I don't do that. They are very light and easy to wear for long walks. Not sure what they are like in the wet but I am sure I will find out as coming from Scotland it is normally wet lol.

Nice leather, waterproof & comfy
My first impression were the boots were a size too small, but its actually the soft membrane sock liner that given time will bed down into one of the most perfect fitting boots I own. I got them for a bargain price on amazon during a sale to boot. Very nice leather thats soft oiled that will give an aged look, the leather will easily mark but it can be rubbed out as the oils flow in the leather shifting to areas that flex, a sign of a quality leather. Nice firm rubber sole, with solid bootlace hooks. This is a boot built to last & breathable & waterproof so good for all weathers.

Second pair
I have had a pair of these trekking boots for 4years and worn them all over the Alps, Europe, Scotland, UK Lake District. They are reliable and quietly stylish, and have been very light and comfortable. Fortunately they can be worn into most country pubs and eating places without being extreme and conspicuously 'mountaineering' (for which I have alternative Aigles). After many miles I wore the old ones down to the core and the uppers split and let water in.So I looked round for replacements, and found my local shoe store was retailing them at silly money. Amazon was the best buy. However, the new replacements, from Vietnam(?) are not the same as I previously bought and are slightly smaller, and certainly narrower than previously. Fortunately the adjustment is reasonable and the leather is stretching, but they are not as comfortable as the old ones. Hopefully time will tell. But as a lightweight waterproof boot..still the best available.

Great strong boot
Had a few pairs of Timberland boots and really impressed with all of them, they are extremely well made, very strong and compared to other boots real value for money. Used these boots half dozen times so far and my feet have always stayed nice and dry. I'd highly recommend these boots to anyone who enjoys walking.Only thing to watch out for is the size, I am a size 8 in ALL my footwear but when these arrived they were a slight tight fitting. I took the gamble of keeping a size 8 and after a couple of times wearing them they soon felt a lot better and am glad I decided not to change them to a size 8.5Can't go wrong with Timberland boots they'll last longer than any of these 'trendy' hiking boots.
