Misleading advertisement
It said it was a 52 mm lens. It’s much larger than that and they did not provide an adapter ring so it’s utterly useless to me.

Great little lens
It works just as advertised, and it beats having to spend $200 or more for a zoom lens. I have tested it on still subjects and it works great, I will test it on moving objects next. I am a semi professional photographer and I think it is worth more than what you pay for it and it is a name brand like Vivitar. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend this lens to all photographers.

Soft Lens!
Lens works ok. Very soft at the edges.Box indicated 52mm. But lens was a 58mm!! From South Africa it is not financially worth while to return the lens!

TOTALLY UNUSABLE, design flaw, 5 star reviews fake.
DO NOT BUY!SHAME ON those writing 5 star reviews! I have the Canon 300mm telephoto lens and wanted to shoot planes, and with this thing it becomes unusable, quite literally. I expected very little here for $12, and actually the WIDE ANGLE Vivitar model is pretty good. But the 2.2x telephoto VIVITAR looks like fog is in the lens, just as the pics here show. Strangely, when viewed separately in your hand and off the camera, it looks fine. It looks totally clear. Very odd. Bit when on another lens though, it's a total disaster. You get nothing but a 50% haze, even in daylight! Obviously, it was designed wrong and then made like this. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
