First natural foundation, it combines high skin protection (SPF 50, UVA) with lightweight & comfort
After so many years, I found finally a first foundation which combines high skin protection with lightweight & comfort in one natural foundation. It offers optimal protection against urban aggressions such as skin oxidation and daily UV rays. There are so many reasons why I love it and I use it now everyday!First, in terms of protection, it has SPF 50 UVA & anti-oxidant, which makes me feel protected. Second, it has thin texture, which gives me a breathable sensation and moisturized feeling. Third, in terms of make-up result, it offers high coverage with radiant and natural look. Last but not least, the affordable price, less than 11$! I should stock several so that I can blend the different shades for the face contour and shaping.I chose the natural ivory shade. As you can see in the photos under daylight in the late afternoon, the bulk shade is a little bit lighter than my skin color, but the final shade on my skin is great after application and the color fit perfectly my skin ton.So, really a great product! I recommend all my girl friends to have a try :)

Almost exactly like SPF foundation I bought for 3X the price
This product comes really close to another foundation that I used for melasma coverage and sun protection.I don't think I'm allowed to name brands, but I was addicted to a maximum-coverage, high-SPF foundation I purchased at a very popular cosmetics store, both of which shall remain unnamed in this review. Sadly, life took a turn and as an unemployed mom, I could not warrant paying $40 a tube every month for only one of about ten beauty products I use on a daily basis.Going without sunblock and melasma coverage wasn't an option (ugh--job hunting and interviewing with a splotchy, sun-damaged face at the age of 46!) I tried a bunch of other foundations ranging in the $10-$20 price range and ended up finding this foundation in one of those Amazon suggested items list.Yay! I'm on my second or third tube of this stuff. There are lots of colors to choose from. I actually combined a couple of shades when my unintentional tan faded this fall.My only issue with the product is that my face is super-shiny. I have very oily skin, anyway, and any product with this much sunblock in it is bound to make my skin look greasy. On the plus side, if you are concerned about wrinkles, this product does a great job of hiding them and keeping your skin very smooth (versus dry and cakey).

Great foundation, needs better shade range
Really happy with this foundation. Bought it thinking it would be good for every day wear and it's great for that. I apply it with a damp sponge and find it to blend out very quickly and easily and have a good medium coverage that dries to a demi-matte/satin finish that looks quite natural on the skin and feels weightless. The shade range is far too limited in my opinion, especially for a product that claims to be full coverage. Some people with sensitive skin may find it irritating due to chemical sunscreens and alcohol in the formula.Pros:-Looks like skin, very natural-Easy to apply and blend-Can vary the amount of coverage depending on the application method. Can go from sheer to medium (would not call this full coverage).-Feels very lightweight on the skin--no heavy "foundation" feeling-Doesn't sink into fine lines/wrinkles or pores-Broad spectrum SPF 50. I would never rely on a foundation exclusively for sun protection (you won't use enough or apply it evenly enough to get the protection advertised on the label), but it's a nice extra to give you a bit more protection over your regular sunscreen.-Wears pretty well on oily skin, though I do set it with powder and need to touch it up about half way through the day. That's standard procedure for me with all foundations, and this touches up well and easily. Even when I do get a little oily, the foundation doesn't separate or cake up anywhere.Cons:-Shade range is poor. Even in the lighter shades, there isn't enough variety of undertones for everyone to find the correct match, and don't even get me started on the deeper end of the spectrum which is nearly nonexistent. Maybelline can do better. I couldn't find a match and have to blend two shades together instead. I won't be the only one.-Advertised as full coverage and it isn't. That doesn't bother me because I prefer medium coverage, but if you expect this to be full coverage, you will be disappointed.-If you are sensitive to chemical sunscreens, steer clear of this.-If your skin is sensitive to alcohol in products, again, you'll want to steer clear.

My Go To Foundation For 66 Year Old Skin
This is a great foundation that really melts into your skin. I have fairly dry skin to start and it does not leave me oily. Light coverage that is buildable with very little creasing. Lasts all day. I’ve probably tried hundreds of foundations over time, and have been using this one for a few years. SPF is also a plus. Highly recommend for older skin !

Excellent colored base for a personalized tinted moisturizer
I have extremely dry fair olive skin, so finding a something that works with my texture and skin tone is a nightmare. I usually have to make my own. I use this as a mixer because it has a surprising amount of coverage and a nice watery texture. I mix 4-5 drops of this with a quarter size dollop of face cream and a bit of green color corrector. It applies and wears beautifully! This is a fantastic foundation on its own, but if you like a lighter look I highly recommend trying to make your own tinted serum/moisturizer. It plays very well with basically any water-based product.
